FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in outdoor people photography. Instead of clients coming to a studio and sitting in a room with no windows my clients either choose a location they have always wanted to be photographed at or I recommend one based on their needs. The beach is popular spot along with parks.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's a lot more work than just clicking the button of your camera. A typical photo shoot can last anywhere from an hour to 3 hours which doesn't seem like too much. But it takes another several hours to edit photos, get the prepped and prepared for the client and get the final results to them. Add that to the pre-prep time and all the time you have to market yourself and get your name out there and it ends up being a full time job. But of course us photographers don't get paid to market ourselves, we use the money we earn in the photo shoots to do that.
