I have always had a passion for transforming homes back to their original, beautiful state. My father was a general contractor and licensed termite inspector and I grew up working for him remodeling homes. I constantly observed the damage termite did to houses and how amazing they would look after my father and I finished working on them. When I became older I followed in my father's footsteps, became a general contractor and decided to start a termite company of my own. I love going to work everyday knowing when my children grow up years from now they will be able to see the impact I had in preserving the homes in our community.

I called initially to take care of some ants and spiders. When the gentleman came out to spray the bugs, he noticed some termite damage. He examined the entire house and discovered a few more damaged areas. I decided to follow his recommendation and have the house treated with some minor repair work. So glad I was able to fix the termite problem without getting the house fumigated!! Price was reasonable and the service was professional

I got several quotes before choosing to go with Cal Termite. Even though their offices were much further away from my home, I ultimately choose them because of their people. They are clearly a team of people who take pride in their work. Treating my house for termites was a stressful undertaking me, I have pets and housemates to organize being out of the house, and I took a long time actually schedule it. Still, their team was super all along the way. Everyone I interacted with over the course of planning/executing the work, was responsive, and solution-oriented. They didn't hesitate talking me through every step of preparation, or answering my many questions - always in a clear, patient manner. I highly recommend them. And they did what they said they would do.The one thing I learned after having my house treated - was that I had a huge ant problem immediately afterwards! I mistakenly thought the ants would get 'treated' at the same time - they don't! And apparently termites are their enemy - so once the termites were dead, the ants were having a field day running amok in my house. But Cal Termite came back and took care of it right away.

Friendly and reasonably priced service. The first time I called, they fixed the dry rot on my patio cover, and although the original work was not done correctly, they came back out and made it right. The second time, they inspected what could have been termite holes on an interior wall and after a thorough inspection by the owner Scott, I was assured I had nothing to be concerned with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cal Termite offers free inspections. We work with residential, commercial, HOA and real estate. We offer discounts for seniors and military.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with our office staff scheduling the time and date of the inspection and gathering contact information for your termite inspection report. When one of our inspectors arrives at your home, he will explain the inspection process, including everything he will be looking for during the inspection, and will give you a folder with additional information about the inspection process. Your inspector will show you what, if any, evidence was found after the inspection has concluded. You will usually receive the inspection report within one business day of the inspection date, which will contain a breakdown of all findings made during the inspection as well as recommendations for each finding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associate's Degree in Construction Management and over 25 years experience training and working in the field.
