We have hired Dan for several projects updating and repairing our home. It was so nice to finally find a professional that knew what he was doing and didn't charge outrageous prices. The most important thing is that Dan listened to what we wanted to achieve. Some of the projects were a bit unique, requiring some pretty creative problem solving and Dan stepped up to the plate. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My estimates are generally free unless there’s a lot of travel. I generally charge by the job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I go over the project in detail with customers to be sure they know what they want, then explore more economical options if possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
College educated Engineer, trade school trained welder, then worked in construction all trades. I’ve been doing handyman work for sometime now. I enjoy building fences, iron, wood and vinyl.
