- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically price by the hour, plus cost of materials. I will always give you a maximum price, because if I choose to put more time into it that's because I want to work to get you exactly the project we have discussed, regardless of any hiccups that happen along the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent the last 15 years working in the construction, remodel, and new home industry. Both in sales positions, management positions, customer service roles, and as a contractor.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up working for my mother, who had her own interior design business outside of St. Paul, MN. Wallpaper, historic home restoration, and faux finishes were what we lived and breathed. My love of homes and interiors hasn't waned, and now has grown to include sustainable and TINY options that make the most of what people own and can afford.
