Introduction: I am the president of Gemmell Energy. We are a solar energy company located in Vista, California. Working mostly with PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) we design a system specifically for you, to fit your energy needs. Energy that is produced by the system is purchased at a low cost, saving you on average 20-30% on your monthly energy bill. Thanks to the Net Energy Metering (NEM) Program, if your system produces more energy than you use, you can earn bill credits for the excess power you put back into the electric grid. You can later use that credit to cover the power you may require at times when your own self-generation doesn't fully meet your needs (at night or a cloudy day). Gemmell Energy is one of very few that give back! For every home that goes solar a donation is made for a school and nutritional center in Mozambique, Africa.
