FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My sessions are purchased in packages, with 4 minimum to start, going up to 8 sessions booked within 2 months. Each session is 60 minutes. Learning takes time, as does progress! Packages are paid in advance via Zelle, Venmo or cash/check and then scheduled once we agree on what works. I always send over a receipt of payment once received, before our first session. Rescheduling sessions is flexible, within reason. I do charge a $50 travel fee per package for clients outside a 20 mile radius of Vista.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you contact me with interest, I may ask to set up an intake call to find out more about your goals, lifestyle, and experience with yoga. During that conversation I will also ask about how many sessions you're interested in booking, and we can discuss scheduling and payment for our first session before wrapping up. I will follow up our call with an email recapping the points we made clear such as: goals, number of sessions, price and payment terms, and preliminary scheduling. The email will also include policy and waiver attachments for you to sign and return to me before our first session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been teaching 14 years with nearly 5,000 hours of teaching experience, in addition to holding the highest yoga training certificate of 500HR (in addition to other trainings) and 20 years of personal practice experience. I've taught in all settings: yoga studios, gyms, homes, backyards, front yards, parks, festivals, retreats and corporate offices. I am trained, equipped and comfortable teaching all walks of life! I’m registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500HR level). My teaching focuses on safe biomechanics in yoga postures to set the groundwork for a sustainable physical practice. I also teach simple, accessible aspects of the practice beyond poses as tools to use in your daily life off the mat to help you manage anxiety and stress.
