Josh is an excellent instructor! Made class interesting and fun. One of the most thorough CPR classes I’ve attended in 20 years. Very fair prices. Reliable and honest. I recommend him for your CPR/firstaid/ AED training.

We got onsite CPRTraining. The training was well-done and fun! Josh was very responsive and helpful! The only criticism would be that the online component, created by the American Heart Association, needs work on the simulations. It does not seem reasonable to have to sit through the counting of the actual breaths in order to demonstrate knowledge of the process. The "in-person" skills test allows for that demonstration.

Josh's class was very well presented! We had a class of 12 employees. I took a CPR class about 10 years ago and don't remember the very basics of what I'd need to know in an emergency. This class was so much better. All those in our class who had previously taken a class thought Josh's blend of video and practicing on the dummies, with his instruction, left us very prepared. Ryan was also great in explaining different, possible scenarios and answering all our questions.
We highly recommend Josh Sauberman' CPR class.

Josh was prepared, he arrived early, he was efficient, funny and very informative. It was great to hear the information from his real life experience. He tailored the presentation to our medical needs and made sure that we each had practice in multiple scenarios to reinforce muscle memory if there were ever a need.
He is a really great teacher, adding detail that I had not heard or expected before, such as when you are compressing an adult, you are going to hear sounds that are the equivalent of cracking knuckles, don't panic. Also, if you are going to choke, do it with friends!
That is good, practical information that will help keep me feeling more prepared and confident in a stressful situation. I would love to hire him again in two years.

FAQs
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a firefighter my crew and I regularly respond to medical calls of every nature. Because medical calls make up 80% of our total call volume, we put a lot of time into training and keeping up-to-date on the latest emergency medical practices. Continued education is an essential component of my job.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a firefighter and EMT, I am already heavily invested in the world of emergency medical services. Teaching people CPR is something I consider a privileged and it's something I enjoy doing. When I teach, my goal to to keep my students interested, engaged, and to educate them so they walk away feeling empowered with the understanding and skills to save a life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Many customers "price shop" looking for the lowest cost class. Our prices are low because we don't advertise, but price should not be the deciding factor. Find a CPR instructor who is going to give you the attention you deserve for your money. A $10 difference in price shouldn't make your mind up for you.
