Introduction: We are a small family-owned firm, and we specialize in residential remodeling and additions with an emphasis on kitchens. We are a full-service, design-build contractor, so we can walk you through the designing, planning and permitting processes as well as building the project. As a design-build firm, we are able to tailor the plans to your budget, avoiding costly redesign, omissions and extras. We can work with you to control costs by coordinating the entire project and having you, a family member, friend or relative do some of the work. We are happy to furnish references upon request. We offer quality by design.

Definitely would highly recommend Cerletti & Kennedy! We contacted them for a full kitchen remodel and entire home flooring installation. First met with Matt a conscientious and detailed design engineer who listened to my ideas, did the technical drawings and measurements including brainstorming how the design would work. Matt created a wonderful design of the kitchen— cabinets, countertops, lighting, backsplash, down to the finishes, for example cabinet and drawer pulls and handles. The kitchen, including the appliances, is beautiful! Robert gave us a bid on the project and was the contractor in charge of the crews and coordinated trades from demo to installation of plumbing, electrical, dry wall, cabinets, lighting, etc. Although there was a slight delay of a week or two the job was completed and professional done. In 2019, Matt Kennedy and his team completed an inspection of our home’s foundation bolt and bracketing and added additional bolting to bring our home up to current earthquake standards. The inspection and work was done professionally, on time, cleanly, and in a singe day. Their work led to a 20% reduction of in our insurance bill. That represented a speedy payout of this project in less than two years and the piece of mind that our home was in good shape for the next big one that will be coming.

Trades experience is important, but a poorly designed and managed project is bound to fail. Check references, check references, check references. Verify licenses and insurance are in good standing.
