I engaged Jackie's services for a home Pilates instructor for my boss who is a highly trained athlete and who is very particular around instructors. Jackie sent one of her two instructors located here in the Bay Area. This is the best place for personal training and pilates in the Saratoga area. It's located right in the heart of the Saratoga Village. There is always plenty of free parking and lots of cafes and coffee shops nearby for a quick snack afterwards. Saratoga Village is such a lovely place to come and there is no nicer, more educated, genuine, caring person than Lala. Whatever you define as going above and beyond, Lala goes even more above and beyond that for her clients. I could write a novel about this place and how amazing it is. I started working with Parand two years ago after an episode of low back pain.She was very experienced and knew exactly what type of exercise program to create to strengthen my back and stomach muscles and stabilize my core muscles. In the beginning, my class was mostly Pilates, now it involves aerobics and weights as well. I exercise twice a week. She really accommodates my schedule-as a busy professional with a young child her flexibility has been key in allowing me to continue exercising. I feel great and I think I also look better in my Jeans which is a huge plus.
Blair is a gifted Pilates instructor. She knows just when/how to challenge me and do so in a wonderful way that encourages me to work harder. The end result? I look and feel good! Yay! I've long suffered from back pain (scoliosis) and I've never felt better! I've been seeing her 2-3X per week for the last two years (combination of mat and equipment class + duets and privates). The comments from friends and family who haven't seen me in a while are awesome.
I snapped my tibia and fibula in January of this year that required surgery, hardware, extensive recovery and PT. I started working with Jordana twice a week because I was still really unbalanced and physically afraid of doing much beyond walking. She was such a gift at that time to me and I cannot really express all the positives about my experience with her. She helped me get my muscles back in alignment after the nasty atrophy that occurred, she did it with humor and physical awareness and kept me on task with kindness and constantly pushed me to do better and reminded me of how far I'd come. As a trainer and person I can't recommend her highly enough; Jordana is motivated, professional, kind and highly knowledgeable about building the skills for physical recovery.

I have been taking pilates classes from Brielle since Oct 2015. I cannot say enough great things about her class! Brielle is very conscious to ask all students if they have any injuries or if they would like her to concentrate on a particular area. I typically leave feeling not only stronger and taller but so relaxed. Somehow, she makes it a meditative workout. Over the 4 months I have been taking her classes I am considerably stronger and more flexible. I find her the most encouraging when she challenges us to focus and have our "strong moment". (Watch out, she'll say this right when you're ready to give up.) Brielle is very good about emphasizing healthy life decisions, which I really appreciate. I will be honest and admit I haven't always led the healthiest of lifestyles. I feel so good after her class and want to carry that feeling for as long as I can so I now try to make healthier life decisions by thinking twice about the foods I eat and activities I do. I think, most importantly, Brielle is a great teacher due to her attitude. She is so supportive and friendly. i felt immediately at ease taking her class.

Jayne is a marvelous instructor. I've worked with her for several years and have learned more about how my muscles work than with all the other martial arts, dance, yoga and fitness instructors I've studied with in the past 60 years. She really understands bodies and alignment.
What a wonderful studio! Recently I spent 5 days in San Francisco and wanted to keep up with my weekly pilates classes so I scheduled two classes with Lena Koenig -- I had read her bio on line and expected my classes would be a bridge until I returned home to my regular instructor. Well, what a surprise --- Lena was more than sufficient! I learned several very important concepts within the first 15 minutes that had thus far eluded me and we ended up having two fun, challenging classes. Since I find myself in San Francisco twice a year I plan on attending classes with Lena again. A great find.
In working with Lani for one and a half years now, the results are truly amazing. I have developed deep core strength, flexibility, relief from back pain and my scoliosis has become much less prominent. All of my goals have been met, and she continues to take them to new and higher levels surpassing my expectations. Lani is extremely knowledgeable in how our bodies move, she never rushes through a session and is a stickler for doing each movement correctly with precision. Her private and semi-private session are equally terrific and very enjoyable. She has shown me the safe and correct way to do the movements, so I can do them independently between sessions. A gem of an instructor!
