I needed custom-built stairs for a very picky dog. Javier contacted me immediately and asked more information about what I needed. In just a few hours, he and another member of the crew were able to come and construct stairs strong enough to support me and my dog, for a fraction of the cost of other solutions. I’ll definitely call them again if I need anything else.

Great job on my drywall project for the garage. Part of the garage was unfinished and Javier added the drywalls and gave a competitive quote. Even with competitive quote, he used the best materials (5/8" fire resistant drywall when some others quote 1/2" drywall). I love the knockdown texture and the high quality paint over knockdown structure. Only flip side, he did complaint a bit about the quote/money he received and the scope of work went a bit more than what was stated. The paint was on the expensive side. I would highly recommend Javier for the work!

After a careful review of estimates vs. expectations I decided to work with a “smaller” contractor – Ayuuk Construction. I should say that I’m more than happy with the quality of the build for my utility 5x8 deck with safety railing and steps on the steep concrete hill. Despite the quite difficult location for the structure, Javier quickly understood the scope of the work, asked the right questions to make sure the design meets my expectations and is up to the building code. In my case it was an important aspect as other candidates pushed me to inflate of the scope for the project, rather than listen to what I need. The structure was built pretty quickly and turned out to be looking very good. The results definitely exceeded my expectations (and eng-design drawings). The city inspector was happy with the structure as well. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Ayuuk Construction to others.
