Introduction: I have over 20 years experience in the home furnishings and interior design business. I have have owned retail stores ( furniture stores, art gallery ) , great resources including my own custom furniture line. I offer complete turn key solutions for my clients, project management and or hand on consulting for clients who just need sleep guidance but prefer to do most of the project themselves. Being that I am a project based designer I also offer package pricing which can include both the services my clients need as well as the products so it is all inclusive of one price. I love to be able to help people in creating amazing atmospheres where they live or work. The creative process and bringing all the elements together is very satisfying.

I contacted Arash a couple of weeks ago regarding a design for an awkwardly shaped outdoor patio, but ended up with a brand new kitchen instead. For context, I had been searching for months for the right contractors and assistance to replace my countertops and cabinets on a meager budget, and had practically given up. After contacting, walking through, and receiving quotes from 4 general contractors and 2 licensed handymen, I had come to terms with the notion that I was unable to afford to renovate my kitchen. My plan was to outfit my outdoor patio, address the kitchen sometime in the future (who knows when) and move on. Arash arrived to our consultation for the patio, but immediately began rearranging my existing furniture and brainstorming ideas for interior design. I admitted I wanted to update my kitchen but chose to focus my attention outside, and Arash flipped the script. Within two hours, he had secured a fabricator for countertops and a painter/ installer for new cabinets, all for a price I was able to comprehend (unlike all of the other contractors that wanted $25000 to flip the kitchen). Arash accepted my design and project management challenge with a grateful heart and eye for detail. Within 8 days of consulting with Arash, both contractors arrived to demo my existing kitchen. Arash was incredibly communicative, answering all of my questions within minutes, and pursuing every last option before assigning contractors. He was optimistic but realistic, proposing options that fit my budget and extent of the work. With Arash, not only am I getting the interior design component I was looking for, but a project manager and someone that was looking out for my best interest. I am incredibly grateful. Thank you, Arash.

Working with Arash has been a pleasure for me, from the excellent customer service to his attention to my taste and budget. My studio is tiny but the work put in from Arash is not to be understated. It took us 6 months to complete the project due to various reasons on my side, but at the end, I cannot be any happier to see how it turned out. We talked over phone almost every other day when it first started. He kept checking in with me on every step of the way to make sure the project goes as smooth as possible. If anyone are still unsure about hiring a professional interior designer, I would highly recommend giving Arash a call. Thank you Arash for the wonderful time we spent working together.

I contacted Arash to get assistance in designing a new office layout and picking out furniture. The office has an awkward shape by being on a rounded curve of the building. Arash was amazing in his customer service and in both making suggestions and listening to my needs/wants. He always quickly responded to my questions and followed up when I would forget to respond. I am very pleased with my new layout and having a modern and great looking office space. Arash is a great guy to work with!

Arash is an amazing designer and visionary. He completely transformed our downstairs to look modern, fresh, like a model home. Now I have to have him work his magic upstairs since the downstairs looks so beautiful. He is so passionate and dedicated, he made us feel confident about his vision and experience. He took the extra mile for everything to be perfect and he has this really great creative energy. I have used other designers before and so far, he has been the best!

Interior Design

Arash is excellent. He is patient, creative, flexible and, most importantly, reliable. He listened to our ideas and then designed around them. He has great ideas and vision about paint, furniture, rugs, art and overall interior design. He was hands on at every step making sure that we were happy. He transformed our house and we couldn't be happier. We look forward to working with him on our next project!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is project based and though I do offer an hourly rate, it is rare that my clients will want to work on an hourly basis versus project basis. I ask three questions, one is what is the scope of the work my clients need, two is what is their budget and three is when do they want to start. These three questions are the easiest and fastest ways to find out what the scope of the work will be and my clients budget and what I will charge for my services. I also design and manufacture custom furniture for my clients and so the prices always vary depending on the items selected, the fabrics and or finishes, the quantity etc...

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes I always keeping informed on some of the latest design trends and strive to provide the best services and products for my clients.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was in the fashion business as a stylist and image consultant, and I used to barter my services with furniture store owners for furniture. I had a passion for design and so one thing led to another and I transitioned into the home furnishings business and then opened retail furniture stores. Clients would request for me to go to their homes or businesses to provide interior design services, and so I furnished many homes, worked with realtors in staging their clients homes and furnished commercial spaces too. I love to design unique furniture and I have been doing that for over 15 years and so that is where and how I got into my line of work.
