- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do keep up with schematics in new machines online , tutorials , repairman circles .I find it really helps keep up with the tools necessary for the more modern repairs. Not all jobs require the same tools.it is vital that we repair techs keep up on our tools.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I actually had a close mentor who many many years ago was in the appliance business for himself. Through giving him a hand in his shop as a youngster I learned that I also loved this field and enjoyed using the tools. After schooling and training with big company appliance company jobs as an adult I seen many people didn't have the big money that big companies expected.I realized that I have what it takes technologically to go in business for myself and help save people money .
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common job of all time is the never ending dryer lint.
