He fixed what 2 other electricians could not. Very knowledgeable and professional! Honest and responsive. He's an invaluable resource.
I wanted to replace under-mount two bowl sink and contacted several plumbers but all of them told me that replacing under-mount sink is very difficult and could damage to my granite countertop. However, Amin agreed to do the job after inspecting my kitchen sink and did a wonderful job. Even dishwasher installers from Lowes appraised his excellent job.
I have to say hiring Nima for some electrical repair and installation was one of the best ideas possible. He did an absolutely phenomenal job from beginning to end. I had personally interviewed seven other electricians to install floodlights motion detectors and a beam for home. Nima responded immediately, professionally, detailed in his process and procedure, and came in well below any of the other estimate. His work was flawless. I couldn't be happier and I promise if you hire him you will not be disappointed. He is a decent good man who does fantastic work for a low cost.
My mother lost her legs and only had one working burner, on her cook top. My mother lives in California and I live in North Carolina. After over a month of trying to get it fixed though Home Depot......never getting anything done through Home Depot again....my husband called someone, who came out, and told us we needed an electrician, before he could do the job. I found thumbtack and posted my request. Thanh replied and was at my moms house the next day. He was polite, knowledgeable, up front, and reasonable in cost. My mom has a few more repairs needed in her home and I will be calling thanh again.
Mike's a great guy! My schedule kept changing and he was flexible enough to work with me. He did an excellent job, his rates were below other electricians and he offered me an amazing deal on future lighting work. I'll definitely hire him again. It's nice to have an electrician in your pocket.
Great workmanship and very tidy; can barely tell where there was work done! Have had other electricians come in and cut out parts of the drywall with wanton disregard and leave me to clean up. This guy definitely gets my recommendation.
My partner and I interviewed four electricians before we found Mario. Instantly after the meeting, we knew we found our guy. Mario is responsible, communicative, and a straight-shooter. He's very knowledgeable about electrical work and you'll be impressed by his desire to implement best practices. We enlisted Mario to install two brakers, additional wall outlets, and kitchen lighting in our studio. He went above and beyond -- in addition to our original ask, he helped us with installation of the ceiling fan and outdoor sensor lights. We were so impressed by his professionalism and dedication to the task. He went out of his way to ensure our other contractors (general handymen and dry wall installer) were working in conjunction with his finished product. We're going to be remodeling our office next and will definitely be calling Mario back to help us out with new electrical! Thanks so much Mario (and congrats on your newborn)!
Had a problem with an outlet not charging my wife's car. Ed was professional and friendly. I have had four electricians come out and tell me something I did not need. This included grounding rods and re-wiring of panels and/or the house. Ed took the time to diagnose the problem and showed me everything he was planning on doing. The panel was already grounded and so were the outlets. He fixed the problem and our Volt can now charge. I would strongly recommend him to anyone that is having electrical issues/problems.
Pete is a very professional Electrician, He got everything we needed to have done at our Place of Business in a very timely matter and at a very affordable price. We are Grateful to find an honest professional electrician.
Quick response to a middle of the night query. Increasingly bothersome flickering of light fixtures, turning into occasional loss of power to lights and appliances without reason or provocation in two or three circuits without tripping breakers, until a "Poltergeist" type light and sound show at 2 am. Did some DIY run through internet sites and thought better. Discovered Thumbtack by chance and gave a try. Received three responses of interest, liked the reviews and understood the nature of the few negative ones too. Particularly drawn to the fact AJ was a local professional who was still in town! First visit was to trouble shoot. But knowing the neighborhood and building stock and electrical profile, he described and diagramed what he believed was the ultimate problem and solution, replacing at sometime in the near future the aging, original main subpanel with old pushmatic breakers and questionable wiring. But rather than spend unnecessary hours on the clock to further troubleshoot, he proposed replacing two questionable breakers and tightening some clearly scarred contacts, to see if that improved the situation and gave us time to plan what we agreed was a necessary upgrade down the road. He did the work swiftly and efficiently. The performance was improved marginally over the next few days but it was clear that it didn't make sense to wait on the new subpanel. We set up a time. He credited his past work and gave us a reasonable bid. He came as scheduled and when we went behind the panel, everything he originally suspected was there. He installed the panel and wiring in the six hours he projected at the start of the day. AJ was direct, straightforward, cordial and friendly. A teacher and tradesman, he took me through the electrical mechanics of it and was transparent in his dealings. I appreciated the respectful and mature approach, while being personable. It is now over 5 days since the work was done and we haven't a flicker of a doubt that we are safer and sounder now. As smooth an operation and recovery as I could have expected.
Our experience with Hector was amazing. He installed cabinets, lighting, and electrical work in our garage (basically remodeled the garage). He is extremely hard-working and treated the job as if he was doing it for his own house: no shortcuts. His prices are very reasonable and he is a man of his word! You cannot go wrong with Hector! Excellent work and we look forward to working with him on ALL upcoming projects. We have found a handyman for life!
Chris show up on time; was able to troubleshoot the problem and fix the problem immediately. The price he quoted me over the phone was what he charged me. When I need an electrician again, I will be calling him.
In every way imaginable, it was a real pleasure working with Sam; a true professional! He was patient, thoughtful, and eager to please with all of the convoluted electrical issues we uncovered during our remodel, created by former so-called electricians. Don’t mess, hire the best, and Sam is our man forever!
They are not the cheapest and I think I may have overpaid, but I called nine, yes nine, electricians and Rene was the only one that could come out same day. It was a holiday week so everyone was busy. Still worth it. The fix was quick, he showed me the problem, and was thorough in his work. He was cranky when he got there but truthfully I don’t blame him (for a variety of reasons). I’d recommend Green Electruc.
American Castles Mike To the RESCUE!!! The water heater at my rental property burst on a Friday afternoon causing some major damage to the house. The renters were furious because their items got damaged and the house wasn't inhabitable after that. On the inside, the bathroom wall and under stairway closet were all soaking wet and drywall/carpet/padding had to be removed immediately to prevent mole build up. On the garage side where the water heater located, the entire wall was destroyed. so I called my home insurance who provided me with their preferred plumber who quoted an additional $540 out of pocket on top of what the insurance was going to cover just so he can bring up the water heater installation to code! He told me that it will take him 1+ week to order the water heater (duh...get one from Home Depot take only 1hr...which is what Mike did) and that he can install a temporary water heater and will charge $137/wk! He also referred me to a water damage restoration company which I was not too happy with either. Since it was an emergency and I went with that company. They came in and ripped out all the wet drywall without caring for any molding; especially for garage doors and closet doors! It seemed like what ever the water heater didn't damage, they did. They also broke my water heater intake shut off valve. damage the water heater over flow copper pipe. All I can say is I will not use them again! Back to the plumber, something was smelling fishy about his quote and so I called and questioned this plumber. His response was "Well, I will need to flush out the gas line and calibrate your water pressure...upgrade to the new California safety quote...put in earthquake straps...install new vent line since the new water heater nowaday don't use the old vent line!". I was not convinces so I started to Google for good local contractor and AMERICAN CASTLES (Mike Tay is the owner) came up from Thumtack along with few others from other websites. I contacted them and they came in and provided me quotes. Mike was the last one I contacted. He arrived within 30min. He checked out the damages and explained to me what needs to get done sequentially to get everything back in proper operation for my tenants. Mike is very knowledgeable and very patient in explaining things. I told him what the plumber had said, he laughed and told me the whole thing was a rip off and a scam! Another crock of bull**** and advised me against it. He told me to call my insurance company to inquire about using other plumber. Sure enough I was offered the "cash out" option which I didn't even know was available. I took that option and went with Mike for the repair. Mike knows how important it is for my tenants to get the hot water running again once the water damage restoration company completed the clean up/dry out the area (took 1 week). As soon as that company removed their equipment, Mike had his crew come in the next day (Saturday) to repair the garage dry wall and finished the installation of the new water heater and brought it up to code on safety on Sunday! He even added the water pan and installed drain pipe for me. I didn't even know such a thing exists (talk about quality...he treats it like repairing his own home!). The best part is his charge for the whole job including new water heater, earthquake straps, valve, drain pan, vent and new connection is far way less than what that plumber was going to charge me. I loved the fact he took the time to show me how things should be done up to code and what works for my situation instead of just giving a price and walking away. He did an awesome job! Unfortunately my landlord insurance's deductible was so high, I asked Mike to give me a quote for fixing the damage in the garage and inside the house. Mike's quote was very competitive and the best part is he is always willing to work with me knowing my situation (thx Mike). My bathroom paint is 16 years old so it was a challenge to match the paint for the new wall. After only quoting me for painting a small wall inside the bathroom, Mike decided on his own to paint the entire bathroom without charging for it. Now that what I call TAKING PRIDE IN YOUR WORK AND STICKING TO YOUR WORD!!! My summary is, Mike successfully completed the entire job and installation in four days. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone and will definitely be using and referring him to everyone I know.
Ignacio and his helper, John, were very professional, handled my electrical needs quickly and efficiently for a very fair price. They may not be the cheapest (they weren’t the most expensive either) but you get what you pay for. I will absolutely use them in the future and refer them to anyone that needs a licensed electrician. I would highly recommend always going with a licensed contractor, especially an electrician.
I am having the best handyman experience of my life! We have a few properties and we've been through a few handymen and Hanssel is the best in the business. He quoted about 12 things on a punch list from building kitchen cabinet inserts to installing doggy door and he did it all on time, quality work and was cost effective. He is very professional and polite. I will hire him again and again!
After getting estimates from a few other electricians. I am glad I chose FS electricals. Franco was honest and he knew what he was doing. Franco did a great job. He completed the project within a few hours, did a clean job and kept the price he quoted. I would hire him again for other electrical jobs!
Eric performed electrical work on our home which was in escrow and did excellent work. He is pleasant and professional, arrived timely and even went the extra mile writing a complete report and taking pictures. I would recommend him highly.
Mike Johnson was fantastic! He was completely accommodating, fast, reliable, and reasonable. Great work too! Solved my electrical problems in a short time for not much cost. I have used other local electric companies in the past and been much less satisfied. Mike will definitely be my go to electrician. Thanks, Mike!
Great electrician, pleasant to work with.
