My name is Nicole and I own Just Keep Swimming School. I take pride in our teaching and how I interact with all of my students, of all ages.
I have a background in early childhood and special education and was a nanny for 5 years, before opening my own swim school. I have been teaching for over 8 years and truly love what I do.
I take passion in my teaching method, in which I focus on comfort and a positive relationship between my students and myself. I work with all ages, 3 months and up.

Nicole was worth every penny we spent (and more). She was punctual, always on time, never finished early like some teachers we’ve had, always made sure our kids were comfortable and truly teaches in a way I’ve never seen before. We have spent thousands on local swim schools and teachers. Nicole owns her own swim school, so she knows what she’s doing. Our kids learned how to swim in less than 5 lessons for one and 10 for the other. We are forever grateful for Nicole and all she’s done.

I can’t say enough good things about Nicole! The convenience of having lessons come to us was a game-changer. I had an incredible experience with Nicole and everyone at Just Keep Swimming School! They traveled all the way from Orange County to Los Angeles for my kids’ swimlessons, and it was worth every minute. Nicole is truly one of a kind and we are so grateful for her. We had funny enough, found her swim school on Yelp, right before we found her here on thumbtack.
Nicole’s teaching is unlike any other that I’ve seen and she spent time making sure our son was comfortable and knew he was safe. This was a huge green flag for us, because our son is on the spectrum. She took her time explaining everything to him and letting him know that she was there for him.
Our son is non verbal and was turned away from 2 other instructors and 3 swim schools. Our son has major sensory issues and Nicole got him (willingly) going underwater after 2 lessons. We love and cherish Nicole deeply. I can not recommend her enough

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge various prices through the year, with our sessions coming to you, being the lowest price between October and April. We offer monthly options or discounted packages.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every student I meet, is different. They each have their own needs and preferences, regardless of age. I will ask the length of lesson they’d like, the frequency they prefer and the days and times they prefer. Once we confirm we have availability, an invoice will be sent over and be paid. Once it is paid, we will schedule the lessons.
I will always gather all the important info: prior lesson experience, age, any prior traumatic experiences that may have occurred, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching swim for over 5 years, have a background in early childhood and special education, I am CPR/First Aid trained and certified and I have worked with children for over 13 years.
