Kym worked with my family and our puppy and transformed our devilish puppy into an almost angel. She was working with u in our needs to improve our puppy behavior and she did that and more. She is kind and patient while teaching you how to communicate and improve the relationship with your pet. I will hire her services again in the future for deepening the training of my puppy but also for long boarding and training. Thank you Kym for helping us with Magnus, we are forever in your debt.

I cannot express in words how happy we are with how Kym took such great care of our puppy, Izzy. When she left for boot camp, she was a disobedient and very difficult puppy to handle. She returned home a happy, obedient and very healthy puppy. I would do it all over with no hesitation- there isn't enough $$ for the value we received. We will continue to keep in touch with Kym for boarding and ongoing training and just to keep in touch - Izzy loved Kym as much as Kym loved her and that was such a comforting feeling.

I have just completed my personalized training course with Canine Companions as of May 31st and the entire experience was enlightening and delightful. My furry friend is a 3 year old male blue nose Pit Bull terrier and I needed a knowledgeable professional to teach me how to best train and care for my friend. Kym not only did that but so much more. I understand dog hierarchy and the leader/follower tendencies of the pack mentality so much more thoroughly now. She not only taught me what works with dogs and how to keep their respect and obedience but WHY it works as well. I didn't have to overcome any severe issues with my Pittie, as he has a great general disposition as it is. What we worked on was asserting my role as a leader to him and how to make my boy know that I was in charge and that he could trust in me and follow my direction all in a safe, positive, learning environment. You never have to lift a hand to your dog if you know how to properly address the issues you have with them! After three sessions with Kym I am now to able to walk him on the leash with him at my side and no longer pulling and dragging along to the next spot for him to sniff or mark, I AM IN CONTROL, and he happily rambles on along side me enjoying the walk and accepting my direction without challenging it. Among that huge step in my relationship with him we learned how to properly reinforce the basic commands with a dog that I feel personally are oft overlooked as to how critical they are to a dogs growth and the relationship you share with them. I know how to execute these commands in a way to will not confuse my pup or contradict other commands I have given thus confusing the poor guy. Kym not only helped me fix his bad habits, but my own bad habits as well. I thank her dearly for that. Kym was on time with our meetings, always had treats on hand to reinforce his training, and was always more than happy to teach helpful tips and advice on proper care and health topics concerning our four legged friends. I can proudly show off my friendly and obedient Pit Bull Terrier thanks to Kym and her vast amount of knowledge and care she has for these creatures. It was the very best time and money I have spent with my dog and I absolutely believe that EVERY dog owner should experience instruction such as hers, everyone would benefit from responsible owners and safe healthy and happy pets!

First class just finished. Great information on dogs. Nice print out to take home covering training, feeding, breaking bad habits. Teacher knows her material and is very hands on. Five more classes to go. My dog has already learned to sit and walk on a leash.
