Tim and his son Leif did an excellent job on my deck repair project. They are very personable and pleasant to work with. Tim's price was more than fair and his work quality was excellent. Tim responded positively to a few special requests I made and had some excellent suggestions that solved problems satisfactorily. He is a fine craftsman and I am very pleased with the result.

Scheduled an appointment with Tim to get my shower door installed and on the day of the appointment Tim called me to inform that he had cold and couldn’t make it but he understood the urgency I had of getting the work done and managed to send one of his friends Oscar to do the job. They did a top job with the door and I’m really happy I chose to go with Tim for this project

Tim and Leif were very nice people. I hired Tim to build a drop down at my entry way, hang barn doors, and hang 3 doors. I got talked into deck work which was the best of all the work done but even that was a little sloppy (marking my boards with permanent markers??) Unfortunately the other work lacked skill and quality. Tim has a lot of other obligations, which I get, but it left him working a lot of days but getting very little accomplished daily. I ended up hiring someone else to do the final two doors to just make it all stop and was left with a lot of rework and clean-up to do myself. Pics below show how he left the moulding, unfinished calling on the drop down/frame, and just messy work. I think Tim can handle basic DIY/handy man work but not much more. Again, very nice people just not professionals.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer free estimates and our pricing is extremely fair.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to give detailed drawings and graphics of how the deck will look on site. I often take aerial drone photos of the area and super impose a graphic of the finished deck over the photo. It provides a realistic idea of how the deck or kitchen will look. A picture is worth a thousand words. Much easier to make adjustments that fit the concept.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Home Builders Academy. Also their business course along with OSHA training to provide safe work practices.
