Jaden contacted me soon after requesting RadonMitigation services. He told me when he could be here and he was right on time. Part of the install was in a hot attic and he never complained. He built the PVC structure to support the radon fan and motor and fully tested those components. He also worked in the basement to cut and install the plexiglass cover over the sump pit and seal with silicone. Then he installed a device to monitor the suction on the PVC pipe to determine if the fan is working properly. He then cleaned up everything afterwards. He left a radon test kit to use after several days to make sure things were working as planned he explained how things work and left his phone number to call if there were any issues. I was very pleased with his effort and he had the best price for the project.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to be in person for every estimate, as I want to personally see what price is reasonable for the job, as each house is so different from another. I typically will only add additional fees for excessive horizontal PVC piping, painting the external PVC, or for coring through horizontal foundation walls. All of these are fairly uncommon, and painting is only if the client desires it.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet clients before I do the job, as I can come see the house and discuss the proposed system with them prior to doing any work. I am flexible on time and I am happy to make far drives to homes. I like to schedule a time with the customer after they approve the proposed system and price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed 50+ radon mitigation systems shadowing a professional as training prior to ever working on one myself. I believe that that experience allowed me to become confident in my abilities to work with even the most complex homes in Colorado.
