FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very fair and competitive. Particularly for the service you are getting. I am charging a competitive market rate, but allocating much more time for the job. Most window cleaners I've talked to aim to make about $150/ hr, per guy. We aim to make about $50/ hr, per guy. This means we are charging you the same rate as the other guy, but putting 3x the time into insuring your windows come out flawless :) We take the extra care to ensure you are getting the best quality of clean for your "hard-earned"!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you reach out, Johanna (my office manager) will get you taken care of promptly with an "Over-the-Phone" quote :) If all is good with the quote, Johanna will get you scheduled for a date and time of your liking. And if any weather pops up for the scheduled day of the service, Johanna will reach back out and make sure to get you scheduled for a better day! Once you have used our service we will have your quote stored safely and ready to go for the next year, making scheduling again a breeze.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started working for a friend of mine cleaning windows after I graduated high school. I worked with him, learning the in's and out's of the business until I felt I was ready to start doing this work on my own! I got started by strapping on my roller blades and hanging door hangers around the neighborhoods I grew up in, until eventually I had served enough happy customers that we started to get work by way of referrals. At this point I began growing my team to meet the demand we had amassed through our great work. Now just a little more than a year since my start, I now have three full time employees who help me make sure every customer is provided the upmost care and a top quality clean! And yes, I still do all of the cleaning myself (with some help) :)
