David and his team were top-rate professional in how they interfaced with me and performed the work necessary to place my air conditioning unit back in commission after the motor failed. They were responsive to my requests, any questions I had, and the work itself was top drawer. Based on the very good results of the work performed for me, I would recommend David for any HVAC work.

David was quick to respond, quick to dispatch, quick to diagnose and super professional. My only critique, is his costs seemed a little high based off of some online research. Be aware that Thumbtack has his service call listed as $125, but I was charged $150. The rest of the costs seemed a little inflated, but that could easily be due to recent inflation. I'd recommend, if time allows, get a few estimates and do some comparisons. That all said, if we are in need of HVAC services in the future, I will consider David and Dr. HVAC, but will make an effort to shop around and look at some price comparisons (but I'd suggest that in pretty much all service scenarios)

The service technician called me after the scheduled arrival time and asked for the address (which was already in the notes). Then he didn't explain he was running late. An hour and a half later, I texted him and he said he wouldn't arrive for another 30 minutes. When the technician finally showed, they looked at the job and wanted to start working without first giving me a quote for the job. I told them not to do the work and I did not need their services any longer. UPDATE: after discussion, we resolved this issue amicably

Yes I do, I actually have a class coming up on Saturday August 30th 9am-5pm
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew I wanted to learn this trade, so I turned down any and all job offers for almost a year, to get my foot in the door with the correct company that would not just train me, but would send me to school for four years and graduate with honors. I worked for only this company for almost 10 years then decided to start my own!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Installation, furnace and Air Conditiners, as well as service.
