Introduction: All teachings are based on The American Heart Association's new 2015 guidelines. CPR instruction is a lifesaving technique that I hold close to my heart as it is a daily risk factor in my household. Knowing when and how to utilize CPR, first aid, and Basic Life Support are both important and beneficial to you and to the others around you. Having worked with abused and neglected children, individuals with special needs, and having a son with a life-threatening illness has taught me the value of knowing life-saving techniques. I find the tools that I teach are not limited to caregivers. Whether you are a stay at home mom, work in construction, at a grocery store, a library, as a chef, or in customer service, these skills are invaluable and can be utilized at any time. I truly enjoy instructing my classes! I find the more interacting the easier it is for students to remember the skills being taught. I am also extremely flexible when it comes to various circumstances. These skills are important- so we will figure out how to make this work for you!

She is a great instructor. Gave time for everyone to ask questions and answered each person. Explained everything well. Enjoyed the class and learned alot. I feel very confident in CPR after taking this class.

The instructor was very patient with me having to take care of my 9 month old baby while doing the cpr and first aid. She was well versed and confident in what she was doing.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most often I train individuals that need certification for employment, but I also train families and friends for the knowledge and skills they may need in the event of an incident at home or in the community.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When hiring someone to certify you in CPR/AED and First Aid you always want to make sure that they are legit trainers and the certification will be accepted by your employer from that particular organization. I have had a few people pay for certification that was not legit then come to me for accepted training through The American Heart Association, and the previous money spent with other instructors was lost.
