My name is Jeff Olson, and I’ve been involved in all types of construction for over 26 years. Today, my team and I focus on what we love most: building decks and creating beautiful pergolas of all kinds. We had a very tight timeline for a new deck and Jeff and his crew were able to finish a beautiful new deck, despite the rains that delayed the project a few times. An extension that was added to our deck by the previous owners decided to pull away from the original deck, due to insufficient bracing, about a month before our daughter's wedding. We'd planned the next-day after bar b que for 70 out of town guests, so a collapsing deck was terrifying. Jeff's crew whacked a support beam one time and the entire extension came off. We are extremely happy with our new deck and the work that was done.

I loved everything about our experience with We Build It. The owner was super responsive and gave a lot of thought about our unique deck structure (half of our deck was over part of our garage so we had to waterproof that part between demo and rebuild). The team was super professional and built a rock-solid structure that should last twenty years, easily. I would recommend them to anyone.

I met with four companies before choosing to go with We Build It. When I met with Jeff, he was very personable and open about his approach to the work and their pricing. He was very open about the pricing structure and transparent with the cost of the materials. They were able to get the job started on our time line and they completed it quickly. There were two minor things that came up during the build and Jeff was quick to communicate with me about them. For this project we tore down the old deck and replaced it with a much larger deck and couldn’t be happier. I would recommend We Build It to family and friends. You’ll get a great deck and very competitive price.

On a scale of 1 to 10. We build at 5! Give us a call!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have five steps to begin the process. 1st is a site visit to get a good understanding of what you would like to accomplish. 2nd is to receive detailed pricing that is itemized. 3rd is a viewing of all deck board samples, all manufacturers will be presented along with railing samples. Iron and aluminum with four different rail profiles. 4th is to say YES. 5th is to schedule preconstruction meeting with the crew leader that is chosen for your project and begin!! Very safe, easy and comfortable process!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
26 years of construction experience, starting in land development, custom home building, fix and flip, solar and then 13 years of straight decking, patio covers and pergolas....this is my passion!
