Mark did a great job on witerizing my patio door. My only complaint ain't even that big of a deal, but more timely communication would be better instead of late in evening and last minute.
Mike was fantastic. He took the time to do a great job, didn't mind teaching me as he went along, and was entertaining as well. He didn't charge extra when he found out he had to install two extra closet doors after he arrived and he fixed my squeaky front door as a bonus. Hire Mike for any of your handy man projects you won't regret it!
My security door wasn't opening right, and even though it was a small job, Dave gave it his all. He showed up when he said he would and brought the door back in two days, which was faster than he promised. He was pleasant and friendly and did a great job, and the price was very reasonable. Thanks, Dave!
James has done a great job with painting the interior of our home. He has provided so much knowledge and ideas during the process to ensure quality to his work. He has gone above and beyond with patching wall and ceiling damage prior to painting. We could not ask for someone better to take on this project. After I removed wallpaper from the kitchen the wall was very damaged. He quickly primed and texturized the wall making everything match perfectly. We also had him repaint our cabinets and it has transformed our kitchen. I would recommend James to anyone I know who needs indoor or outdoor painting.
Great experience with these guys overall, although their communication could be stronger. They came out and gave us an estimate to replace and paint trim and a kick board for an exterior door to our garage. We had them do the work and couldn't ask for it to have been done any better! We're discussing future projects...
Our experience with Daniel and his crew was excellent we hired them to relocate our front door and put a window where the door existed. So happy with finished product would definitely call on them again with any new projects
Ryan completed three separate jobs: 1) Install of sliding glass door, 2) repair of wood steps, and 3) painting pergola. He completed all with highest quality workmanship and timely - even completed work while I was away. Very trustworthy and takes pride in his work.
We are totally pleased with A Perfect Finish. The gentlemen who painted the interior of our home did an excellent job, especially with the highly visible glossy paint on the moldings and doors. Garrett was especially helpful in having a crew available for our job on short notice, which we greatly appreciated. The crew was prompt, professional, and easy to have around for the week. They cleaned up at the end of each day and kept their equipment neatly stored each night. I liked that Garrett stopped in now and again during the week to oversee the work. The cost of the project seemed extremely fair. We will definitely use A Perfect Finish for future painting needs and would highly recommend this company to others.
painting installing storm door garage window , replace trim, install new screen - all were completed as expected - STILL AWAITING PHOTOS AND INVOICE
Matt is an excellent handyman who was capable of doing everything I needed to get my house ready to sell. While homebuying/selling can be very stressful, Matt was certainly a very bright spot in the work that he did for me. His tasks included replacing the caulking in the bathrooms/kitchen, replacing door trim, patching and painting over some dings in the walls, and installing privacy film on several windows. There were probably a couple more things that I missed. Matt showed up every day at the time we agreed, and ensured a very high standard of quality with his work. My house was on the market for just 36 hours before we received an offer at $5k over asking, and I credit Matt's work with helping to make that possible. I would have him back any time to do more work on my new home.
We hired Gil to do a variety of handyman services (flooring repair, shower door and appliance installation, updating fixtures, blinds installation, etc.) and he did a great job with everything that we were looking for. He also was very accommodating and flexible with his time which made it easier on us to schedule during our time off. We will definitely reach out to Gil in the future if/when we have additional projects to complete.
They did a great job helping us complete refinishing our bathroom back in 17.
Stars Painted painted the exterior of my home and did a great job. They had the job completed the same week as the estimate and everything looked great - they even added another color to the front door making my wife ecstatic.
Paul Duckworth is a true professional who met all my needs and repairs with efficiency, confidence, and speed. He is a master at refinishing wood! I will definitely use Paul again as he is polite, thoughtful, and kind. He is a person you can trust. It is very refreshing to have a positive man who cares about his work and wants to do his best for his customer. He is very reasonable as well. Paul is the best!
Excellent listener and could easily identify my deck and furniture needs.
Raul replaced board and batten siding on the front of my house that had rotted away from snow and sun damage. He provided a fair quote, turned up on time, did a good job, and tidied up afterwards. His recommendations on how to improve the water barrier were useful. I would call him again.
Uncle Brian’s Home Improvement in Thornton, Colorado has twice done renovation work in our home. Most recently, he’s completed remodeling an upstairs hall bathroom and a bedroom vanity’/sink. Two years ago he completely redesigned and rebuilt our kitchen by changing the layout of our cabinets, by moving a wall that needlessly hid empty space, and by opening the passage to our dining room. The two of us can now prepare dinner together, because we have space to move and counters to prepare meals. Brian went above and beyond what was expected by gently guiding us toward more contemporary styles yet still allowing for our somewhat old-fashioned tastes. With each and every kitchen and bathroom redo, he has jointly created home spaces unique for each customer. We know this because he invited us to see other homes, in which he has worked. We in turn enjoyed showing off our home. While his estimate was not the cheapest; his higher quality materials and workmanship compared well with more expensive contractors, yet was far from being the most costly. His rates were reasonable. Before Brian, we had company “x” do some work for us, but they gave us few choices and refused to adapt to our tastes or even allow us any changes with their “package deal.” Brian, on the other hand, collaborated with us to achieve our goals. First, he took us shopping to learn our tastes allowing for our budget. Whether working on our complete kitchen or overhauling our small bathrooms, he attended to details, such as insulating our bathroom floor and walls keeping my tub water warm longer and putting a plastic cover over my basement light switch, so we need not run up & down trying to figure out how to turn on the light! Also, he filled in the holes his electrician made in the wall and retextured them, too. He custom built matching bathroom mirrored medicine chests, too. More importantly, he found us bargains, whenever he could. Jen, Brian’s go getter, got us a European style adjustable height shower unit at reduced cost—perfect for our home. She also got us a good deal on an over-the-toilet cabinet to match our new comfort height counters. Brian recommended many inexpensive tile choices from which to choose. When we requested cross-reeded glass for our upper kitchen cabinets, he marvelously matched the square pattern with a glass backsplash that looked made-to-match, pleasing us greatly. Oh, he installed a new front entrance for us, too. Our new Feather River door was reasonably priced saving us money over other brands and giving us natural light in our entranceway. Everything looks great. With our kitchen and bathroom projects concluded, we are already on his waiting list to repair our front porch and perhaps replace our back door. Brian and his assistants, Aaron, Jeremiah, Dave and Jen were polite and attentive to our needs. Each day the men cleaned up their mess—a biggy. Our home now has one, complete and pleasing overall unity. We are repeat customers of Uncle Brian’s and heartily recommend his remodeling business to all Angie’s List subscribers in the North Metro Denver area! P.S. The side of his truck reads, “…like having an uncle in the business”—it’s true! Happy Holidays, Jen
We picked Vida Remodel and Cleaning for their low quote and flexibility. I appreciated their communication and professionalism. However, I came home after they finished and it wasn't as deep of a cleaning as I would have expected (and what I paid for). There were windows I still had to wipe down and the sliding glass door was not cleaned. Closets not vacuumed.
Stephan came out to take care of some items at my retail store. He painted my walls (light blue over black!), replaced the front door and bathroom door knobs and replaced the air filters. He was on time, quick, and a clean worker. I would highly recommend his services, he is seriously one of a kind.
