Matthew is a thoroughly professional handyman. He not only finished all the work on time but went beyond and fixed other stuff in the house which needed attention. Would highly recommend him

When my new 76” TV arrived, I immediately regretted not paying extra for installation. How was I going to get this up on the wall?! Luckily, a friend recommended Matthew, Your Neighborhood Contractor. I called, and he was available the very next day. Not only did he easily mount the TV exactly where I requested, but he did the job quickly and cleanly, and even had a few jokes to share. Thank you, Matthew, for all your hard work which has allowed me to relax on the couch, drink in hand, mindlessly entertained for hours.

I appreciate your professional and friendly demeanor. I really liked how you knew exactly how to fix my problem and didn't mess around wasting time. You were courteous, very resourceful, and respectful of both of our times. I will definitely keep your contact information handy.

We have 2 acres and I had a lot of trees that needed trimmed or cut down completely. What a big difference all the hard work they did to make this happen! I also wanted to have some linoleum laid over my vinyl wood flooring in a 12’x10’ area off the kitchen. This was done to protect the vinyl flooring from our dogs when they are fenced in when we are gone and at night where they sleep. It sure is nice cleaning just the linoleum if there is an accident! I will be calling them again when I need help on our property. I will be needing some painting done inside the house and when I’m ready for that I also know who to call. I would definitely recommend them to get the job done and done right!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do estimates or bidding on larger projects and I list an hourly rate for smaller tasks and maintenance jobs.
Larger jobs may require more time, extra man power or equipment rental. It's difficult to give an accurate estimate on a job without having seen it. There are variables, obstacles and materials that need to be assessed and included with the estimate. I like to go out to see the larger jobs so I can give the customer a better idea of what all is entailed and a realistic estimate.
Smaller jobs I run a simple hourly rate starting from when I arrive till all tasks are complete. I am a skilled handyman which allows me to work quickly and efficiently. I will not waste my time or your money. If any issues arise I will discuss them with the customer before any additional costs occur.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Seeing the job with the customer, discussing what they expect in the final product. listening to any obsticles and finding solutions to see the job through to customer satisfaction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
•Experience
