If you thinking doing eyelash extensions with Sarah. Please don't. She is so unprofessional. She is not educated at all at this technique. Whoever gave her a license to do eyelash extensions should be ashamed . I was left with almost no lashes after her application of eyelash extensions. So think twice before you make appointment with her.
Sarah Leone Artistry's reply
Considering this is my first negative review and any client I have ever done lashes for is still coming to me, I will take this with a grain of salt. As all my clients know eyelash extensions are not for everyone. They require lots of care and maintenance and regular appiontments. When a client does not want a follow-up appiontment, as a technician, this sends up a red flag in the sense that they are wanting them as a temporary novalty. Which can be fine, however such clients need to understand that a subsequent appiontment needs to be scheduled for removal. Letting them grow out may cause breakage and more loss of your natural lashes then necessary. I am also very diligent about education for my clients, they have to read over and sign off on all vital information regarding the procedure and then are given a TO DO and NOT TO DO list to take home for reference. I am also available for questions and concerns 24 hours a day via email, texting and by phone. I hope this helps any and all perspective lash wearers in your search for a technician, if they are not honest and up front with what you should expect and what is expected from you as a client then you may want to look else where. Thanks for your time, Sarah

Sarah was amazing!! I never knew having thick eyelashes was an option, after going to her for waxing I knew that I could trust her to help me try something new. She put them on over the holidays and with professional guidance I was able to keep them looking great for weeks!! Thank you and I will be back!!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

One of the best perks to this line of work is that you are always growing as an artist, there is knowledge every where and in this biz most people are so generous with the knowledge they have aquired and want to share it with you. I also try to pass on every and any tips, tricks or otherwise that I have picked up along the way. It makes me feel good when something I've passed on has really helped someone.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I don't think you choose this line of work, I think it chooses you. However, once you realize you've been chosen then it's up to you to make it work or make it your lifes work. I love what I do and cannot see myself ever doing anything else.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Go with your gut. More than likely you are hiring someone to do your makeup for your wedding day, the biggest day of your life to date, take your time (but start early) interview several artist if you have to. The person you choose should just feel right, someone that although you just met you are positive he or she is just as invested in your happiness on your big day as any member of your bridal party would be. I have, on more than one occasion, stayed friends with my brides and often get updates on there lives, kids new jobs, etc. It is a great honor to be part of such a momentous event in someones life, I take great pride in what I do.
