Greetings! I am Jazz, I hold a valid certification as a makeup artist and boast over a decade of experience in the field. My journey led me to Thumbtack, where I recently started full-time. Prior to this, I spent a year with Mac and six years freelancing with Estee Lauder. I accommodate various budget ranges and extend a complimentary trial makeup session if you come to my location. My specialization lies in eyebrows, contouring and creating full Glam looks, which feature a striking, long-lasting, matte-highlighted finish.

She did such an amazing job with my makeup, this was my first time ever doing a full face but she did not disappoint. She had everything needed to do exactly what I wanted. I will be returning for any event I have!

Make sure you give yourself enough time ☝ no extra time!! We had to rush but she did an amazing job she is very talented.

I reached out to Jazz about doing my daughter’s makeup for prom. We scheduled a call for 11:30 the next day to go over the details, but she never called or followed up via email. I sent a text to check if she was still available, and she assured me she could still do the makeup and told me I could call anytime to discuss further. I called again and left a message—once again, no response.
At that point, I reached out to another makeup artist who was responsive, professional, and did an amazing job. I’m incredibly thankful to God that someone else stepped in and helped make my daughter’s prom experience a beautiful one, despite the initial stress and disappointment.
I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but after being ignored twice, I realized Jazz is not reliable. I would not recommend her services to any of my clients or friends. Wasting someone’s time is not only unprofessional—it’s disrespectful. I sincerely hope Jazz improves her communication in the future, but I won’t be giving her another chance to prove it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry for the miscommunication and inconvenience you experienced — that was never my intention. I completely understand how important your daughter’s prom day was, and I regret that my lack of follow-up caused you stress during such a special occasion.
Unfortunately, I experienced an unexpected scheduling issue that interfered with our call, and I should have reached back out right away. That’s on me, and I take full responsibility. Clear communication and reliability are very important to me, and I’ve already implemented a better system to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
I’m genuinely glad your daughter still had a wonderful prom experience, and I appreciate your honesty — it helps me grow and provide better service to future clients.
