Bridget is a very helpful and caring violin teacher. I enjoy the fact that she teaches individual students in the comfort of their own home. Bridget shares her wonderful passion and experienced teaching to all students, without overloading them with work. She is patient and enables students to have a laugh during lessons creating a relaxed environment for young budding violinists to learn to the fullest in. Bridget has helped me in lots of ways. She has guided me to success in challenging violin exams, organized beautiful concert repertoires ready to blow everyone away and most importantly, she has kept my interest and passion for playing the violin thriving and growing. In every ones journey of learning the violin, there comes a point in where it all seems too difficult and giving up is considered. When I experienced this, Bridget understood what I felt and unfortunately I quit. But later, I decided that violin was a big part of me and I was really eager to continue with my violin lessons. Bridget inspired me to keep going and never give up your ultimate passions and hobbies. Know, I am in my school orchestra as 1st violin and also achieved Distinction in Grade Four of The Holy Trinity Violin Exams. I feel very proud of where I am now, and I thank Bridget for being the encouraging teacher that she is.

Anton is a very dedicated teacher who taught me to believe in myself as a musician which gave me the confidence I needed to persist in my studies. He taught me a sound technical foundation as well as musical interpretation at my level of ability. He also exposed me to relevant literature about playing violin and these books, written by legendary teachers, significantly broadened my understanding of playing violin. None of my other teachers considered my brain and musical ability worthy of the investment of that much resources. Anton set no upper limit of what I should expect of myself as a violinist and I feel that he set no limit on himself as my teacher. If he had not moved away, I would still be his student and now would probably be considered a competent amateur violinist.

I am a professional violinist and also maintain a private violin studio of 25 students. My studio presents public recitals twice a year and Ms. Shilaeva has been my accompanist since 2011. She is a consummate musician who is always technically and musically prepared to the highest level. She approaches her work with students of all levels with equal enthusiasm. Ms. Shilaeva's abilities are absolutely top level, and her knowledge of musical style permeates all aspects of her musicianship. Ms. Shilaeva brings great qualifications, experience and a flawless skill set to her teaching studio. She is a delightful individual who is committed to musical excellence. I heartily recommend Ms. Shilaeva and am certain that she would meet or exceed your expectations. - Dr. Mary Gindulis

Wirewood Station is a very fun band! They recently played our outdoor wedding and everyone loved them. Their music set the perfect vibe for the evening. In addition, they were punctual, professional, and even learned a few songs we wanted to be played! I highly recommend them.

Vi Wickam is an exceptional and versatile musician. He is a rare musician who is equally at home in a tuxedo playing for an elite soiree or in blue jeans playing in a bluegrass jam. Last summer I contracted Vi Wickam to perform for 200 guests at the Opera Fort Collins "Songs in Summer" garden party at the Hixon home. As a strolling violinist he played everything from classical violin melodies to old time and Celtic fiddle tunes. Vi is also the founder and first violinist with the Fort Collins String Quartet. His traditional music includes guest appearance with bluegrass and old time music bands and recordings. He is also releasing a much anticipated solo CD this Spring! I highly recommend Vi The Fiddler for any event. He is reliable, courteous, and professional. Quality matters!
