As an editor, I work with clients on their manuscripts, eliminating errors, honing their message, rewriting as necessary to effectively tell their story. As a writing coach, I help writers understand what the core of their story or message is, and help them to express it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that your editor feels a connection to your material, and that you feel an ease and a connection to him/her. It helps a great deal in the process of the communication necessary to turn out good work.
