FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the job some may be quoted hourly and some may be quoted for the entire job. It just depends on the size of the job. If the customer needs me to pick up any product or items with my truck before the job starts I can do that for an additional fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to get as much information about the job as possible so I can make sure the customer and myself are on the same page. Then depending on the scale of the job I may provide a quote or I may need to meet with the customer and see the job site in person to offer a quote. Once the job has been completed I believe it is important to make sure the customer is satisfied with the work and that is has been completed to their expectations. This ensures that when I leave I know there was nothing missed and the customer is happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mostly I have learned from hands on experience passed on to me by knowledgeable builders. I also learned many of my skills from working for a custom stair manufacturer.
