If you’re unsure how long your project will take, please reach out anyway. If it turns out to be too small, we simply ask that you let Thumbtack know so we can request a lead refund. Evenings & weekends: These times are blocked on Thumbtack, but we can occasionally accommodate them. Deadlines: If your project must be completed by a specific date, please uncheck “Open to Other Dates Pro Suggests” so we understand your timeline. Be ready: Decluttering and move management can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging. We’re here to support you—not pressure you. If you’re experiencing financial hardship, please ask about possible discounts. 😊 A Little About Me I’m Beth Blacker, Founder and Chief of Chaos to Calm at It’s Just Stuff. I’ve always been wired to create order (my parents never had to tell me to clean my room!). I love being the extra set of eyes, ears, and hands for organizing challenges, executive functioning hurdles, and packing or unpacking. I once packed a 4,000-square-foot house by myself in one day—so trust me, my team and I are focused on getting the job done efficiently and effectively. We don’t want it to take any longer than you do! 😉 We all outsource things that aren’t our strengths—car repairs, taxes, home maintenance. Decluttering is no different. Sometimes, though, internal overwhelm makes external clutter feel impossible. That’s where we come in: no judgment, just compassion, clarity, and when needed, a gentle but effective nudge. We’re also comfortable working with chronic disorganization and hoarding situations. However, active rodents, insects, mold, or other biohazards must be professionally remediated before we can enter the home. I’m also passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals and seniors navigating downsizing and transitions to senior living. When finances are a barrier, I actively pursue funding resources whenever possible. There’s never a guarantee, but I will always try!
