FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on each project depending on your needs. Do you need to rent more equipment, or will my own private collection suffice? Do you need on-set filming and photography only? Or will you need post-production work, such as editing the video footage and converting it for online uploads, or touching up photos for print? Since I will tailor a custom package to see your project through from start to finish, prices will adjust fairly and accordingly. I can work at a flat hourly rate depending on the nature of the film/photo shoot (example: ongoing film shoot over 2 weekends @ $45/hr). Or, if you are on a budget, I can charge one flat rate and the amount of footage/photos I can capture in that budget will be limited (example: engagement photo shoot with 2 locations and a minor editing in Photoshop for $575).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please email or call for an free initial discussion/consultation about your project needs. From there, we can schedule a follow-up meeting once you decide my services are right for you. This can be done in person, over Skype, or over the phone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Film & Television Production, as well as a BFA in the same field. I also have a minor in Creative Writing / Storyboarding. My background is in illustration and graphic design, so I have excellent Photoshop skills and worked as both a PA and Graphic Designer for film studios in Los Angeles. In school and in the professional world, I have completed over 100 film/video projects. I also received training from Producers Bill Borden (High School Musical), Andrew Meyer (Breakfast Club), and Lawrence Inglee (Day After Tomorrow).
