Met in May to scope a project. He got busy and told us the end of August. Upon contacting him he told us he was booked now until November and to find someone else. He strung us along for 5 months and never delivered the service he said he would.Sep 8, 2018VerifiedSanko LLC Custom Carpentry's reply
Brad, we’re sorry to have misled you in any way and there’s no excuse in leaving potential clients hanging. We simply made a clerical error in following up with your interest in a faux mantle project. We understand this leaves you in a tough predicament though to have your project taken care of in a timely manner and for that we do truly apologize. If the list of other craftsmen I provided you doesn’t yield the desired result, feel free to reach out again and hopefully we can regain your trust by getting your project on the books in November. Again, my apologies.
Morgan is a great carpenter and great contractor. His bid was significantly less than some of my others and his craftsmanship and professionalism is fantastic.Jun 9, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Digital rendering costs act as a rebate off the total project cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It usually begins with an email or phone call indicating the type of work desired. Then begins a determination of what the final product will be through in-person meetings or email/phone correspondence. In order for both parties to gain a better understanding of the idea in mind, clients frequently use examples of work done by others (Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) or use the service of a digital rendering provided by Sanko LLC, the cost of which acts as a rebate off the total cost of the project. Once the design, timeline, cost and deposit are all confirmed, work begins! Full cost is only due upfront for projects under $300. All others are on a 50%-50%, 50%-25%-25% or similar payment schedule depending on project timeline and cost.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and viewing the tangible reward in the results of my labor. I began woodworking as a hobby and side hustle. It quickly gained attention and began to attract clients in a volume that could support my financial obligations. The organization and communication skills gained from my history in fixed income instituitional financial sales and event management have led to a profitable business that delivers on client expectations.
