I had crown molding that needed to be installed in a 1905 built house. So it is a little more challenging as nothing is 90 degrees, straight, or level. He did a great job putting up the crown molding. Was precise and detail oriented.

The good: His quoted price never changed. He got the materials and started working within days. He was very polite and cordial and I had no issues leaving him in my home while I was at work. The quality of the work he completed was good too. The Not Good: When he completed 80% of the work, I paid him the full balance owed. That wasn’t smart. My guess is that he found another job that was more lucrative or time consuming, so he didn’t get around to finishing the work in my basement. I have baseboards and shelves that weren’t installed. At one point, I hired someone to come in and texture the walls because we were running behind the schedule I set. Overall, I’m pretty bummed that the job wasn’t completed and I had to pay someone else to do work as well. But this is how we learn; by making mistakes.
