All I can say is that I am very impressed with the quality of service from the first phone call on word. We have finally found the right tutoring company for us.
Nicole did a fantastic job tutoring my son for ACT preparation. He increased his combined score by more than 10 points. She not only increased his test taking skills, and his knowledge, but also increased his test taking confidence. She was willing to work around his hectic athletic and school schedule and helped present multiple alternatives for times and locations when we had conflicts. Thank You Nicole!
Minnie was very responsive and helped us get the best tutor within the time constraints we presented to her. We are very happy with the service Peak Performance provided for SAT prep.
David is excellent at connecting with teens and engages my son well. He has helped my son improve his understanding of pre-calc, AP calc as well as prepare for the math portions of the SAT. He knows how to balance focus and productive use of time with relationship building and engagement.
Marc has helped me tremendously with my algebra. So appreciative of his quick replies and flexibility when it comes to setting up tutoring time. He's always patient, knowledgeable, and kind. Thanks Marc!
High school juniors have challenges in general. Watching my daughter's grit to maintain honor roll, raise College entrance scores while math teachers apathetically ignore or push back on her efforts is unacceptable and beyond frustrating. Grace Peil has proven invaluable and the results show. Since tutoring began my daughter has a clearer understanding of concepts, test taking, maintains an A in math and has increased her comprehensive entrance score by 3 points. More than that, Grace is kind and extraordinarily motivating, balancing student accountability with enthusiastic encouragement and an unyielding commitment to lobbying for fair treatment by teachers. I would highly recommend Student Society to any student in need.
He helped my daughter with area models as well as explaining all about tutoring
Woody is kind first of all. Gentle and kind. His math knowledge is a given, but his ability to teach is a gift. He even laughed a few times which was great considering how "unfunny" Algebra is.
Carrie helped my daughter prepare for her SAT retest and we are very excited about the results. She really understood the test rather than just teaching random skills for high school.
I hired Carissa to do my taxes and she did an outstanding job! I got a great refund and she had everything done and filed very promptly. I will definitely be using her services again next year.
We had a great notary experience. Easy to work with. I'm so happy to have him as a resource.
We used Jennetta's tutoring service for our son's Algebra tutoring and we were amazed by how thorough and diligent she was! We received weekly email updates on his progress which was very helpful. Thanks so much to Jennetta
First and foremost, I dealt with virtually all types of high school and college courses in the past four years. Although I may not be a certified expert, I took all the exams (AP) and know how to be student and juggle all the stresses and subjects that each course will bring.
I offer reading, writing, and test prep tutoring services to all ages. After graduating with honors from Lesley University with an M.Ed. in English Education, I worked for three years as an English teacher. During this time, I taught English 8, English 10, English 12, AP Language & Composition, Creative Writing, and SAT Reading & Writing. I also taught after school and weekend SAT Prep sessions. I am a licensed educator for English 8-12 in both Massachusetts and Texas. I also hold a supplementary license in special needs education in Texas. Additionally, I have experience working with both special needs students and English language learners. I left teaching when my husband's job moved us to Colorado and we decided to have a baby. I've been working as a freelance writer and editor for over a year. However, I miss working with students and am looking to expand my services into tutoring.
Over 30 years of tutoring Math at the elementary, middle school, secondary and college levels attest to my experience. I understand math from the basics to the advanced. I have scored standardized tests from various states. I am familiar with the Core Curriculum State Standards and textbooks from publishers. I have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a masters degree in Math Education. Not only do I know how to do math, I know how to teach math.
HI!! :) I really like students with good energy and auoras. I like to connect with my students so they can improve their scores.
I have experience tutoring middle school and high school mathematics classes and special areas of student needs.
I think I'm different because I used to have the same situation with my customer. The solution I have will be easier to apply for my student. I will make my student think they can be excellent at math.

I became a math tutor 10 years ago. I have a BS in math and education and recently earned my MS in math from the University of Denver.
Simply put, I am a higher caliber tutor than others. I am a high-performance student myself, having graduated in the top 10% of my class with numerous awards and scholarships. I mastered math, science, economics, and the humanities with A grades in all. Now I'm a law student, which separates me from the typical tutor you find on Craigslist-- a kid one year older than your student who likes to do calculus. I consider myself a professional who will help your student reach their goal in a systematic way.
