OMG WHERE DO I START???!! Let me start by saying I know ZERO things about alcohol or bartending but I needed a bartender last minute for my wedding party and came across Barely Bartending and I could not be more impressed ! Her personality was beyond amazing and so comforting in such a stressful time. she helped me with every question that I had, was texting back-and-forth and made sure that everything was prepared perfectly and was always available to help me out! During the party she always made sure to have a drink in everyone’s hand and Every guest said how awesome she was!! The drinks were soooo goood and kept everyone happy through out the night! She would walk around handing out shots and made sure mine and my husbands drinks were full At all times. It was just so nice to not worry about getting the guests drinks or anything, having this bartender literally saved my life!!! And the price was insanely good - other companies I looked into (for the exact hours) offered almost $500 more then what she did. I was just so amazed and will definitely book her for more parties! I was incredibly impressed with Dawn at Bearly Bartending. I found her services a year prior to our wedding, and I received a text every other week to check in and make sure that I was 1. doing well and 2. had everything that I needed for that entire year. While many of my other vendors were not as communicative and I seemed like a burden to them, I could always count on Dawn to be proactive with her responses and feel like I was the only client she had. Although we were not able to use her services due to our wedding being drastically changed due to COVID, she was the vendor that continually made me feel more excited about my wedding and less stressed about the details. Dawn was very professional and made the process of hiring a bartender for our event so easy. She kept an open line of communication and was so accommodating with all my last minute changes. Dawn is absolutely amazing! Every time I have a question or need input, she is always there with a quick response. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I always provide a flat quote rather than an hourly rate, keeping things simple is my motto. It's easier for you as the customer to know what you are paying for ahead of the actual event. My quotes are based on a few simple factors such as number of guests, length of event and what additional items you may request. All quotes includes set up and clean up time. Portable bar, garnishes and ice/cups, etc are the only additional charges you may owe, however as long as I know ahead of time those charges will also be included in the quoted price. A deposit is required to confirm the booking, refundable if the event is cancelled more than two weeks in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?When I get a request I'll provide a competitive quote based on the estimated number of guests and the length of the event. Any travel costs will be included, and if disposable cups or ice are requested up front those costs will also be included in the quoted price. From there if there are any questions I can answer them through the app, or if preferred we can schedule a call to discuss the details! When you're ready to make a decision just mark me as hired through the app and I will get an invoice sent out immediately for the deposit. Payment day of event can happen via cash, Venmo, square or PayPal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Both bartenders are TIPS certified and have graduated from the Bartending School Of Denver. The Bartending School of Denver classes were set in an actual bar environment which covered over 200 drink recipes categorized into several families of drinks, as well as safety and legal information.
