Chris is awesome. Ive been playing bass off and on for years, but I was stuck in a rut and barely making progress. Since starting lessons things are finally clicking especially when it comes to understanding the fretboard, intervals, and settling in the right technique for a groove.Im mostly a rock player, but Chris has a background in everything from metal to jazz. Hes given me some killer tips from styles I wouldn't normally listen to and this really opened up how I view the instrument. He also works with me on how to play with other instruments in a band setting, not just noodling along to tracks at home.Super solid guy and a great teacher.

I decided to learn bass guitar once COVID hit. Chris has done an exceptional job of making me an intermediate player from nothing using Zoom in just 18 months. Hes taught me all of the techniques in genres Ive asked him about and even broke down every song Ive told him I had to learn (for gigs). Cool and proficient dude. Thanks, Chris R.!
