Introduction: Mathematics and physics are not just academic topics for me. I use them every day in my profession and have for the last four decades. Math and physics are living vital tools to me. This is what I convey to my students. I love to see the reaction of my students when they suddenly understand a concept that they had struggled with. The "Oh, I get it!" moments when the complexity makes sense and everything comes together.

Noel, communicated very well with my wife and I but more importantly with our student Alex. He spent time going through the curriculum necessary for my son to succeed and also assisted with successful habits in test taking and managing teachers. I would highly recommend Noel!

Noel has tutored me in physics and in calculus. In both classes I struggled the first semester until I found Noel. He was able to teach me the things I didn't understand and also helped me with my test anxiety. I had other tutors before Noel and Noel has been the best out of them all. His experience in math and science shows through when he tutors me. I highly recommend Noel as a tutor.

Experience was good, was able to learn how to solve a lot of the math problems that I had and didn't understand, I learned some good ways to remember certain formulas. He's very nice and easy to talk to and learn from.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My primary purpose is to teach students the specifics of the topic they are studying. But, just as important, perhaps even more, I try to teach students new ways of approaching topics in math and physics that enable them to understand new concepts on their own. I have had many students that have found they no longer require tutoring after learning these new approaches.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold: Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University
