I worked with Mike on a bathroom remodel. This was a shared space for my 2 kids who in the past couldn’t use the sink while the other was in the taking care of “business”. Our project included a total gut, and adding a partition wall/pocket door to separate the vanity from the shower and toilet. Mike was excellent to work with, and had mood boards and design ideas that really helped with choosing the right materials and aesthetics for us. In addition he rendered cad drawings that assist with visualizing what we were trying to create. Not having to drive all over hell and breakfast staring at samples in a store, was a huge time saver, and I would argue a much better way to actively design a space. Once it came time to implement Mike did a good job of handling detail work, and really put some nice finishing touches on the project I had not expected. He handled some custom carpentry asks we had to accommodate a laundry shoot, plumbing and a few other challenging things that worked out. Overall the experience went well, which is saying a lot by today’s standards. (Good people are few and far) Mike is easy to work with, and communicates well. The project took a little longer than we initially thought due to finishing materials availability, and he was prompt in getting things done as the materials trickled in. I do t fault him for that, but I would just mention that no contractor can work miracles and a bit of flexibility on the part of both parties gave us a fantastic finished project.

At Realm Design & Remodel you get high-end quality for a reasonable price. More than just a contractor, the owner Michael has an amazing sense of style. He thinks of clever, tasteful designs and is a true master of space planning. Anyone who has remodeled in Colorado knows there are challenges and limitations to working on these older homes. But with Realm you get great communication, honest information about your options, and a company that truly helps you get the very best outcome. I will absolutely use Realm for all my future projects.

Working with Mike at REALM Design & Remodeling far exceeded our expectations. We started with one project, and we were so impressed with the outcome, that we decided to retain him for other home improvements. We are on project number 5 now, and I couldn’t be happier with the end result of each one! Let's start with a phone introduction to discuss your needs and requirements. From there I can visit the jobsite, validate measurements and proceed with an estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've renovated hundreds of homes, interiors, exteriors, & special features. Commercial offices, warehouses, retail, multi-family units, hotel lobbies & more. From builder-grade to luxury dwellings. I am also a certified home inspector as well as IICRC fire, flood, and mold mitigation. I have 20 years of project management and trade skills experience (across multiple industries) to keep projects on track.
