Carrie was wonderful in working with my reactive girl dog who kept barking at other dogs, she used her own dogs to help me work on behavior for my girl dog, and her dogs were wonderful in working with my dog. The behavioral modification techniques she gave me have been so helpful and my dog is so responsive to them! Thank yiu Carrie for helping me SO much with my furry lady!

I am very happy about our training plan after our first session with Carrie. Her experience with training is obvious the first time you and your pup meet her. Carrie's positive training methods are exactly what I was looking for and with practice are already having an effect on my little buddy.

Carrie's knowledge & compassion for animals was immediately apparent in the way she handled Riley at our first meeting. My little dog had just run out the front door & down several streets before I was able to catch her - this was 30 mins before Carrie arrived - she immediately began our session by dealing with this issue, knowing I was terrified of Riley running into traffic or being stolen. We have been working on all the training lessons 'homework' Carrie left us with & I can already see positive results. I'm excited to continue our training knowing it will keep Riley safe in the future. This is also training me to be a better parent & will build a stronger bond between us. Thank you Carrie.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free consultation and we plan a curriculum based on your dog's individual needs. Behavioral packages are the most popular as it is most beneficial for your dog's progress and most cost efficient too: If you choose to do one to five sessions separately the charge is $50-$75 per hour. *** Please call for more information on the savings when you purchase packages!! *** ** I give a 10% discount for active military, disabled veterans and all first responders working in Colorado.**
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with an initial consultation and do an intake interview . Together we determine goals, and decide on training or education curriculum. We set a time for the class or session and get to work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold Graduate degrees in Psychology as well as counseling. I'm a Certified trainer and Certified Behavioral Consultant and have met the criteria of education, experience and CEUs. I am a former Vet Tech and worked as an evaluator at the Humane Society and several Rescue organizations. I have trained my dogs to achieve AKC Community &Urban Canine I have trained and placed 15 Service Dog Teams in the community I have over 20 years of experience training dogs and working with problem behaviors.
