I use positive reinforcement to teach new behaviors, along with a variety of tools and techniques to help maintain reliable training in real-life situations.
My goal isn’t just to teach your dog commands—it’s to help you build a clear line of communication, strengthen your connection, and create a relationship based on trust, understanding, and consistency.

Ruth is an amazing dog trainer, very professional and is very patient and knowledgeable of many types of breeds and dogs of all ages, young and old. She has worked with my pup who has so much energy and some nipping episodes, and I have seen growth in her from staying with Ruth for dog boarding and training while I was out of state for a week. I would recommend her 10/10, and would definitely follow the instructions Ruth provides as the work and progression can only be better when both the pup and the owner consistently practice together. Not only is Ruth an awesome dog trainer, but she is also a kind and communicative person and will make sure to commit to the goals you would like to achieve for your pup. Thank you, Ruth! Ruth is an awesome trainer! She always has the dogs best interest in mind and takes the time they need to open up. Its clear she has a true passion for this career and wants to do it to her absolute best ability. Ruth is a great dog walker. When Im out of town my dogs need a walk during the day so theyre not cooped up in their kennels. She will come over and make sure they get a walk and check on their water supply. I love the daily pictures of their time with her.

Ruth is a great dog trainer ! She is so knowledgeable about dogs and really helps understand the reasons behind behaviors that dont make sense to most people. I love that she is kind but up front and to the point ! She shows a great level of care for her clients dogs and will work with you every step of the way.
