FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Handyman service is $75/hour per worker, with a 2-hour minimum ($150 for one worker). A two-person handyman crew is $150/hour. Crew size and the total minimum are confirmed before scheduling. Picture hanging is $60/hour with a $130 minimum. Virus removal is $100. Furniture delivery labor is $120/hour with a 2-hour minimum ($240); transportation costs are quoted separately and agreed in advance. Assembly and installation prices depend on the scope, item size, wall or surface type, access, and travel distance. Send photos and a complete task list for a quote. I confirm the price or hourly rate, any minimum, and material costs before work begins. Several tasks can often be combined into one visit. For furniture moving and heavy lifting, our standard crew is two movers: labor only is $120/hour with a 2-hour minimum ($240); service with transportation arranged by us starts at $170/hour with a 2-hour minimum ($340). Truck size, mileage, stairs, long carries, and unusually heavy items can affect the final quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send a brief description, photos, your ZIP code, and your preferred date. For assembly, include the product link or model; for mounting, include the item size and wall type if known. I review the details, confirm the scope and estimate, and schedule the visit. If inspection reveals extra work, I discuss the options and price with you before proceeding. I check the completed work with you and clean the work area.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background includes hands-on cell tower installation work, where accurate measurements, secure assembly, and safe work practices are essential. I have completed OSHA 30-hour safety training and CPR/First Aid training. I bring that same methodical approach to home installations, assembly, and repairs.
