We had a general idea what we wanted done with the kitchen in our new house, but weren't sure where we would find the expertise and creative mind to help us not only round out our plan but also accomplish it... We interviewed a handful of contractors but when we met Tim Hertzog, we knew we found the right person for the job. From our first introductions, he was professional and personable and really helped us develop our ideas. He was reliable and timely, with everything done according to the timeline we laid out together. We loved the subcontractors he brought in for various aspects of the work. It was a big job with doorways widened; new floors; new appliances; new cabinets; new island; new lighting; new window framing; wall/ceiling texture and paint and more... and we LOVE it. Almost a year later the quality of the work stands up and there isn't anything we would change. The costs of the project was fair and upfront. There were no hidden or surprise costs; everything was discussed up front and/or as new requests (from us) came along. We have since had him help with smaller projects and have referred him to our friends and family. We give our highest recommendation for Hertzog Renovations and Restorations LLC.

Remodeling is a truly custom service, every job is different. Dealing with an experienced contractor can help with identifying ways to keeping within your budget, and can also help identify issues that may not be readily apparent to the homeowner. This allows for a very accurate bid.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding my customers needs and finding the best plan to fit within their budget requires good communication. Making sure of the details before beginning any project can require several meetings to develop a beneficial plan that fills all my customers needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
3 years vocational school for construction services.
