- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently finished a commercial job in Pueblo, CO, at the Pueblo Mall. I tore out a lot of old marble tile and a lot of carpet. I reinstalled carpet and added a custom hardwood floor for a new showroom area in a JC Penney. The time frame was 3 weeks and my guys and I finished it in 12 days. My guys definitely earned a bonus on that job and more importantly, the customer was extremely satisfied by not only a job done ahead of schedule, but also on a job well done! Sometimes commercial jobs can be difficult because there are several skilled trades all trying to work on top of each other, but my guys did their job and they did it well!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't always look for the lowest price. It's good to find the best deal possible, but you have to keep in mind that quality of work, especially when it comes to tile setting, is very important.
