They forgot to write our appointment down and were late, but they were very responsive and came out as soon as they realized their mistake. They did a nice job and the price was very good. Will definitely hire again

Patio door needed to be caulked and placed back in frame to prevent water seeping in during our recent heavy rain storms. We received a bid but the only staff that showed up were 2 young guys without supplies minutes away from a major rain storm. All but one communication was initiated by me calling, leaving voice messages, texting...the last attempt to leave a message revealed that their mail box was full. We elected to move forward with someone more responsive. I would not recommend Maple Handyman to others nor would we consider their services for future projects such as 2 bathroom remodels we have planned in the next few months.

Thanks for reviewing us based upon weather, the age of our workers and the fact that we are busy and attempted to jump on your project promptly. Next time please ask for sunny weather, old workers and being scheduled 3 weeks out. Also, we were not told what materials were needed and this cannot be "guessed."

Mapletree sent a kid to our house who was not smart enough to throw a drop cloth on the floor. He destroyed our bathroom, ruined a picture, a shelf rack, and a mirror I still can't get clean. On top of the ridiculous mess he made, the patch looks so bad that my 12-year old nephew could have done a better job. He used a cheap can of spray orange peel texture but the texture on the ceiling was knock down. It doesn't match at all. It took us 6 hours to clean up. I'm going to have to paint the picture frame and the mirror and hire someone else to re-do the patch. He also tore the screw out of the wall holding the shelf up. I paid him, but I told the kid that we wanted the manager to call us about fixing it. I never got a call. I called the manager and left a message and complained and never even got a phone call back. Next, I'm reporting them to the BBB. They ought to have their license taken away. You are a complete liar. You never offered to come back. In fact, you ignored all my calls and texts. The idiot you sent did not leave a few drops of texture. The room was covered in PAINT and drywall texture that got in tiny crevices in an intricate antique mirror frame. Washing the frame caused the paint to come off. This was my anniversary. We had to cancel our plans to clean the mess, and the repair is joke. I never heard of a company that lies about offering to fix something and then insults the customer. Prepare to be sued for the repairs.

Hi Christina, I am quite prepared, and, as I said, I spoke with the production manager about this and we offered to come fix any problems and clean the frame. We weren't permitted by you to remedy the work, we were simply told you wanted a refund. It sounds to me like a somewhat common attempt at not needing to pay for a repair. If the problem was a real concern to you, you should have allowed us to correct the work the same day the complaint was issued - which we offered. We have many age levels of handymen (all adults), and had you preferred someone who looked older, perhaps you should have let us know. Also, your attempted insults on our folks are a sad reflection on yourself. I appreciate the 1 star review of three drops of drywall mud, which we would have gladly cleaned up for for you with a wet clothe, whereas that is all that is needed. There is nothing involved in drywall repair that "ruins floors and other things." I think the drywall could have been better, and that's why we offered to correct it the same day. We're happy to work with folks who can be worked with, and we ensure, if allowed, we do excellent work. Also, there is no licensing required for drywall repairs. Thank you for the outstanding example of what type of clients we do not prefer. We look forward to serving those who want a great product, and understand the value of a service provider who is more than willing to correct work that isn't satisfactory... Unless of course they just want a free job.
