I had a really good experience using this company. They answered me the day I reached out and got me scheduled right away. They did a really good job painting our toddlers room and were so easy to work with, I would highly recommend hiring partisan painting they do an amazing job!

While I am happy with the quality of the work, this company is dealing with what seems to be some serious growing pains. Too many non-returned phone calls, text messages and missed deadlines. We had to postpone our move into our new home as a result of their inability to deliver on their promises. If you aren’t in a hurry and can be super flexible, then they will do quality work. I believe their heart is in the right place, unfortunately good intentions don’t get the job done. Until they figure those issues out, I cannot, with a clear conscience, recommend Partisan Painting. Her is my most impartial breakdown of pros/cons: Pros - attention to quality; commitment to doing it right, even if mistakes have to be corrected; worked to meet our budget (definitely not the cheapest though). Cons - so many communication gaps. Lack of follow-up, missed appointments and deadlines. No single point of contact, received different promises/commitments from owners, owners’ sister, project manager (who was let go).

Samantha responded to my project request to hang up some curtain rods at my new home. Her profile states the cost of $40 per hour. The job took less than 1.5 hours total. The expected price should have been $60. She sent an invoice for $180! She claimed that Thumbtack doesn’t have her price listed (it does) and that she also brought a 2nd employee so it would cost double anyways. No where in our conversation did she mention needing a second person. Nor did she state her cost would be higher. Her practices feel very bait and switch and I would caution other users to get their contractors!

I’m sorry that you feel this way. Your screenshot is not of my profile it is of your message history. We don’t have an hourly rate on thumbtack so I’m sorry for the confusion. It took 2 people well over an hour so it is billed for 2 hours. If one person were to do this job it would have taken 5-6 hours. So being billed for 4 hours is not incorrect. Again I said I would honor the $40 an hour.
