FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in honest, transparent pricing with no surprises. My goal is to be upfront so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins. My pricing is based on the time, skill level, and materials required to complete the job correctly and up to code. I do not cut corners, and I take the time to diagnose issues properly rather than guessing. A standard service call or trip charge may apply. If you choose to move forward and hire me for the repair, I will waive the service call charge. Materials and parts are billed separately and are only purchased after approval unless discussed in advance. I use quality parts that meet manufacturer and code requirements. Discounts may be available for repeat customers, veterans, seniors, or when multiple repairs are completed during the same visit. Feel free to ask if any discounts apply. With older systems or hidden plumbing, additional issues can sometimes be discovered once work begins. If that happens, I will stop, explain the situation, and get approval before proceeding with any additional work. Payment is due upon completion of the job. My commitment is simple: clear communication, fair pricing, and quality work done the right.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer reaches out, I start by asking a few questions to understand the issue and determine the best way to help. In many cases, photos or videos can make things quicker and more accurate. Once I arrive on site, I take the time to properly inspect and diagnose the problem instead of guessing. I’ll explain what’s going on, what needs to be done, and go over pricing before any work starts. If you decide to move forward, I complete the work correctly and up to code, using quality materials. I keep you informed throughout the process so there are no surprises. After the work is finished, I test everything to make sure it’s working properly, clean up the work area, and answer any questions you may have. My goal is simple: clear communication, quality workmanship, and making sure you feel comfortable with the work being done from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my plumbing career through a formal apprenticeship, where I received hands-on, on-the-job training along with classroom instruction. Over the years, I worked for multiple companies in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, which gave me experience with everything from service work to large-scale systems. I’ve continued my training throughout my career by staying up to date on plumbing codes, manufacturer requirements, and best practices. I’ve also completed additional certifications related to backflow prevention, medical gas, and other specialized systems. Most of my knowledge comes from years in the field, solving real problems, working under pressure, and doing the work the right way. I take pride in my experience and in continuing to learn so I can provide safe, reliable, code-compliant work for my customers.
