Working with Shannon at The Voce Libera Studio has been an incredible experience and a true game-changer for my singing and professional music career. She is an outstanding vocal coach knowledgeable, supportive, and deeply invested in helping her students grow. Shannon has an amazing ability to identify exactly what I need technically and artistically, and she explains everything in a clear, encouraging way that builds confidence as well as skill. Through her guidance, my vocal technique, control, and overall performance ability have improved tremendously, and I feel far more prepared and confident as a professional musician. She creates a positive, empowering environment where progress feels both structured and inspiring. I’m truly grateful for her mentorship and highly recommend Shannon and The Voce Libera Studio to anyone serious about developing their voice and advancing their music career.

Shannon was my first voice teacher. I cannot recommend her enough. I came to be her student at Richland College in 2017. I was a directionless and troubled 18 year old only pursuing a music education on a whim. Shannon's teaching did not stop with giving me a fantastic foundation as a singer: without exaggeration, she turned my entire life around. Some of her biggest strengths are ingenuity and an open mind. As I suffer from both PTSD and a physical disability, Shannon had to get creative. With her persistent troubleshooting, a very difficult student became a very successful student. I went on to become one of the most highly awarded singers at Tarleton State University, winning both their concerto competition and music student of the year award. The president of the university was in attendance at my senior recital. I received a full ride to SMU where I sang Lauretta in the main stage opera and completed my master's degree. I am now continuing in their Performer's Diploma program and looking at DMA programs. I don't know where I'd be if I hadn't started with her. Regarding vocal technique, every teacher and clinician I've worked with after Shannon has praised the foundation she built in me. I use what she taught me on my own students, usually with great success. You won't regret studying with her!
