- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a group fitness instructor during my last year of college, and found that I really enjoyed helping people get stronger. Then, after years of knee issues and surgeries and being told that I would never squat again without knee pain (spoiler alert: they were wrong), I became passionate about helping people train smarter to work with and around pain. When it comes to pain, not moving is almost *never* the answer. By intelligently designing and adjusting exercise, it is possible to reduce (and even eliminate) pain so that you can get back to doing the things that you love.
