- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went through a lot of training through Mathnasium and Learning Forward. I am continuing with professional development courses- Tutoring and Common Core, Tutoring Techniques with Dyslexia, and Tutoring for Children with Disabilities.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as a nanny and my favorite part of the day was helping the kids with their homework. I decided tutoring was a good fit for me and began to pursue strictly tutoring jobs.
