Beeline came to my house the next day after I called and on time. I had them spray for carpenter ants and wasps. The technician was nice enough to check the crawl space even though that was not in the initial service quote.

Jesse took care of my ant issue and came out several times as needed. I signed up for the annual pest control subscription and he comes and sprays outside my home for prevention every quarter as promised. I don't have to schedule it and it's very easy. It also includes remediation for other pests. When I found mice in my home, Jesse came right out and set up bait traps. It is really nice to have somebody on call to deal with any pest issues.

As a landlord with reported bedbugs in one unit of a 4-plex, I was very concerned. Mr. Wright conducted a thorough free inspection and was very knowledgeable and professional. The tenants hired another exterminator even though I recommended Mr. Wright to them.

Isaac was fast to respond and provided a great value for his quote. I had wasps living in my BBQ, and needed preventative bug treatment around the house in preparation for spring/summer. He did a fantastic job taking care of my wasp problem. He also sprayed around the house, inside and outside. I was happy to see how thorough he was, he even sprayed in our crawl space and he replaced our sticky traps. We were very happy with his work and professionalism. I would recommend to friends and family, we plan on using his services again!

Jim was an excellent source of information, ideas and maintenance. I would recommend his company to anyone dealing with bedbugs. Also, the company services were reasonably priced. I can't think of way in which his company could have improved - very very reliable.

About

Get rid of bed bugs in one day, guaranteed! Bed Bugs and Heat Treatment According to 6 out of 6 entomologists speaking at the Colorado Pest Control Association Convention of 2010, no available pesticides on the market effectively exterminates a bed bug infestation. 6 out of 6 entomologists agree that heat is 100% effective in killing all stages of the beg bug, from egg to adult. Lethal temperature for the bed bug is 120 degrees. Our temp air electric thermal remediation heating systems succeed in heating virtually any residential area to over 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat Treat, Inc. is the largest thermal remediation company in Colorado. Our combined/customized temp air systems are UL labeled and are larger than our competitors; meaning we can heat more square feet per system. We use specially designed fans to distribute heat to every corner of your home, exterminating any and all live bed bugs. Dozens of computer monitored wireless sensors make sure that we keep every space in the infected area well over the lethal temperature. Pesticide treatments are not only ineffective, but can cause bed bugs to flee from one area to another, spreading the infestation. Don't waste time and money on multiple attempts with different treatments. Kill bed bugs the first time with 100% effective thermal remediation. Call us for a free/immediate inspection. We guarantee that no live bugs will be found within 2 months after treatment; otherwise, we will treat your home again for free. Get rid of bed bugs for good; call Heat Treat, Inc. today!

About

Most importantly Heat Treat IS NOT A GENERAL EXTERMINATOR! Bed bug eradication is what we do .. BED BUG ERADICATION IS ALL WE DO! With that commitment comes two significant points of differentiation from most exterminators in the market. 1.) Heat Treat works diligently to maintain a current level of education and process improvement as it pertains to bed bug eradication. This includes staying current with the proven science that is developing with bed bug evolution and their potential resistance to treatment methods (specifically their resistance to chemical treatments). There is no resistance to heat ... when applied correctly and completely it is 100% guaranteed lethal! 2.) Beyond our commitment to education, Heat Treat is one of the few companies in the Rocky Mountain region that has invested in the most contemporary and effective equipment available in the industry: Manufactured by TEMP-AIR, 460v electric UL approved and labeled heaters that were engineered and designed specifically for bed bug thermal remediation. The total investment for these heaters, fans, portable electricity generator, electrical distribution, and heat monitoring equipment is nearly $500,000. With that level of financial commitment there is simply no room for sub-standard service or performance. Heat Treat must be effective at killing bed bugs effectively with a single treatment or we risk our reputation and financial solvency.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What do pest control companies do?

Pest control companies handle all aspects of bug, rodent and animal extermination or removal. Pest control professionals visit your home or office to identify the type of pest that is troubling you and offer various treatment plans — complete with clearly outlined costs. Once you and the pest control company have a signed agreement, the pro will begin treatment. Pest treatment can range from the use of spray pesticides and gel bait to live and/or kill traps. There are a wide range of types of pesticides, many of them nontoxic for humans and other small animals. This means you may be able to have your home treated for pests without harming nearby wildlife or your dog and cat. The pest control pro will carry out the treatment plan and, depending on the service agreement, provide follow-up such as emptying traps, inspecting access points, or reapplying pesticide spray if the pests return. Costs will vary based on the type of pest you are having removed and the extent of the infestation. The average national pest control price range is $80-$130. From a minor bedbug event to an entire home termite infestation, pest control companies have got you covered.

How much does it cost to treat a house for termites?

Termites are not only creepy-crawly, they can literally eat your house out from underneath you. Termites feed on damp and dry wood and can chomp through your house at an alarming rate. The national average pest control cost for termite extermination is $240-$400. Treatment costs can be higher for an extensive infestation. Here are some examples of average pest control costs for termites:

  • Liquid treatment of subterranean termites: $3-$4 per linear foot.
    • For $75 per year, a company may offer a maintenance plan that provides inspection of the property and renewal of the warranty.
  • Liquid treatment of subterranean termites: approximately $400 for a 2,000-square-foot home at $3-$5 per linear foot.
    • The price is higher for additional work such as foaming and drilling inside of concrete slabs.
  • Fumigation treatment of drywood termites: $1,200-$1,500 for a 30,000- to 35,000-cubic-foot home
    • Fumigation is measured in cubic feet because it fills the airspace of the home and infiltrates the wood that the termites may be colonizing. The cost of fumigation is affected by the number of levels in the home as well as the square footage.

How much does it cost to get rid of cockroaches?

Cockroaches are not only ugly, they are difficult to get rid of. Quick and resilient, they can be hard to get rid of without professional help once they have inhabited a house. Nationally, the average range for cockroach pest control cost is $80-$130. Extermination professionals typically provide a free estimate to determine the extent of the infestation. They’ll check for the main sources of the bugs, identify bug access and entry points into your home, and determine the best method for elimination. There are a variety of cockroach extermination tools including gel baits and traps, pesticide foggers, desiccants (which dry out the cockroaches), neurotoxins, and other pesticides. Pest control costs can also cover preventive measures like regular spraying and trap maintenance. Some regions of the country are much more prone to cockroach problems than others, so pest control costs may need to be part of your quarterly budget. Cockroaches love dark, humid, and warm areas and water sources, so place traps near your washer and dryer and under your sinks.

How much does it cost to remove a mouse?

If you have a mouse in your house you’re probably quickly researching pest control costs. Mice, although tiny, can transmit diseases and also get into your food and leave unsanitary droppings around your home. If you have seen one mouse in your house, it’s likely that more have taken up residence in your crawl space, attic or basement. The national average pest control cost is $150-$200. Costs can vary depending on whether you need to get rid of a population of living mice or just dispose of a dead mouse (or full traps), how extensive the mouse population is, and where you live in the country. Here are some examples of average pest control cost for removing a mouse:

  • $150 for initial trap setup and inspection (and sealing of entry holes).
    • $50 for rodent removal service calls and emptying of traps. This visit can also include identifying and sealing entry points that were not sealed on the first visit.
  • Rodent extermination: $110-$350, depending on how heavy the rodent population is, whether the mouse infestation poses health risks, how many entrances exist and how many rodent bait stations are needed.

How much does it cost to get a pest inspection?

In general there is no cost for a pest inspection. Exterminators typically provide a free property or building inspection and then provide you with a written estimate outlining the necessary treatment and cost. The home visit allows the exterminator to assess the problem and let you know what your pest control cost will be if you contract with their services. You may need a termite inspection for real estate purposes. This will be a verified inspection showing that the house in question is termite-free (often done before a sale). The inspection may cost a flat rate, such as $125-$150, depending on house size.

It’s hard to predict pest control costs sight unseen due to the variety of factors that go into pest treatment. For example, a bedbug problem for one customer may be confined to one room and be easy to access and treat in one visit if the room is clear of clutter and the bedbugs have been caught early. In another home, a bedbug problem may also be confined to one room, but there’s a great deal of clutter, providing more hiding places for the bugs and requiring more spray and labor for the exterminator, as well as many pieces of large furniture in the room that need to sprayed. Depending on the maturity of the infestation, a bedbug problem may require multiple visits to entirely eliminate. This is why many companies provide a free inspection to determine pest control costs and provide you the most accurate quote possible.
