FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our basic labor-only rates start at $30/hour (4 hr minimum, up to 70 guests), and include all necessary standard equipment & gear. Additionally, we have a wide selection of packages & a la cart services to make your event a truly unique experience for both you & your guests. All invoices also include a 15% administrative charge and the opportunity to add a final gratuity for great service, at your discretion, to be passed along in full, directly to your bartender.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to get to know each other, preferably through an in-person (free) consultation, and build an understanding of the event based on trust & transparency. Whether our clients already have every detail worked out or have no idea where to start, we offer a range of service and coordination options that can be fully customized to the need each unique event. We work with clients on themes, a signature cocktail design (at no additional cost), planner, vendors & supplier coordination, and provide a thorough checklist to guarantee not a single detail is overlooked. If clients opt for a custom or package cocktail menu, once a deposit is received, we set up a free tasting to sample our wares. For complex events, we also prefer to do a site walk of the venue with the client or their event coordinator prior to the big day, to ensure logistically seamless service in line with the decor and unique atmosphere planned. For all events, clients are contacted by their lead bartender a few days prior to the date to introduce themselves and clarify any last minute details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our bar staff have completed TIPs alcohol service safety training, and are well versed in industry standards and issues legal liability pertaining to our business. Most have professional pouring experience longer than the average college education. I personally have current TIPs & ServSafe Certifications, Brighton PD liquor training, and in the process of obtaining my food manager's certification. Additionally I hold a certificate from Denver Bartending School, and hope to complete my certificate in Beverage Management in the next year as well. I have been trained in, managed, and trained others in a wide range of hospitality service styles laws and standards, from crowd control at a rowdy dive bars and non-profit public festival bars, to synchronized fine dining at exclusive galas.
